The BCV have front loaders. I have a photo -- not sure if it is washers or dryers -- I can email you if you want to send me a PM with your email address. I don't have photos online anywhere so I can't insert here.

In the one and two BR villas? That is a big change. We've always had stacked w/d with top loading washer including this Feb/March.

Or is that in the laundry room for those in studios?

I've been putting off posting about my Mom because it isn't good news.


It has been a really rough weekend for us though.

I am so glad that she came with us on our Grand Gathering in 2008.
She LOVED BC and it will always be a great memory for our family.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Hope your time with your mother over the next short period is special and filled with love. Knowing you may have to let go soon is so very hard but you still have the opportunity to make some lasting memories. Prayers for you and your family.

Marlton Mom last year I went on an Eastern Caribbean cruise which we dubbed our group as the Pirates of the Eastern Caribbean and the same site you mentioned above would not allow us to print.

I ended up going with vistaprint.com they were great and shirts were better than expected and arrived faster than expected.

Just make sure it is a high res graphic and you will be great.

Another endorsement for vistaprint. We do all of our printing for our theater productions with vista. We use a lot of copyrighted material for which we have paid royalties, but I'm not sure they have ever asked us to provide any documentation.

We have been impressed with their product.

Ok, then that's that eh? If they don't want to do the A/C right on those boats Marlton Mom is considering riding them a la Lady Godiva! .....And at 47 years old and kinda saggy and baggy there is no more lady left in my Godiva!

I am arriving in August for a family vacation at YC and have talked my BF into returning with me in December to stay at YC (She is 43 and never been to Disney!!!). I NEED A bounceback offer to make the December trip happen. Anyone notice on a recent trip if bounceback was offered first week of Dec? thanks!

I know there's one in the rooms now but I can't remember if that week is part of it. I know some of December is on it but not sure exactly which weeks. If I remember on Saturday, I'll check it.

I have a bounceback watch from our Feb/March stay. It seems to me that there are far fewer days available for bounceback in 2011. I was happy to snag a THV at a BB rate for November. In December, the dates available are 1-3 (11/27-12/3 if that helps you) and 11-17. HTH.

Robyn, I am sorry about the news. It is never easy to say good bye! I have a belief that my loved ones are in a much better place with no pain and I will see them one day in the future. My grandmother went home a few years ago and she decided to finish her days at home. It was the most loving, peaceful, few moments. My grandfather was laying with her in the bed and we all where around here singing her favorite hymn; "He walks with me". I have always told my family that is how I want to go into heaven surrounded by love and at peace. I know you have some tough months ahead of you but know I will be one of those praying with you!

First & foremost, gotta thank you all for all the totally fab info & tips. I can't imagine showing up on check-in day and being clueless. Wouldn't ya just have one of these moments --->????

Anywhoo, I have a huge favor to ask! I think this quite possibly could be the strangest thing you all have ever been asked! You might wanna sit down for this one.... In September we have, yet again, booked a stay at the YC. This will be our post-Dream-cruise stay...checking in on our 18th wedding anniversary...garden view CL for 6 nights. We've balked at booking at the YC again because in the past, at least 3 or 4 times, whenever we've booked the YC something has happened that caused us to have to cancel our trip. I know one of those trips was because of hurricane damage to our home (2008). Last year it was hubby's job situation (or lack-thereof for the 1st time in 17 years!). When I suggested YC for this trip the hubby's first response was a chuckle and, "I dunno...we've got some bad juju going on there..." When we stayed at POFQ this past November we made it a point to go over to Beaches & Creams for ice cream and walk around a bit trying to reverse our bad juju. I thought about asking the front desk CMs to give us a blessing or something but I figured they'd just bless us with some nice, crispy white straight-jackets. Soooooo...pretty, pretty pleasy-weezy-nice-n-cheesy with a whole can of whipped cream ~yes, a whooooole can of whipped cream~ would you all send some good vibes, do a little dance, perform a little ritual, or send a little note to the Yacht & Beach Gods to help us with our bad YC juju?!?! I sooooo wanna stay here! Especially for my anniversary! I'd be ever-so-grateful to y'all. And it's okay to laugh. I certainly am! It seems like such a silly thought....but then I read this thread and look at the pics and I get all desperate!

Hi Sweetpee- perhaps a visit to the Genie who lives in our Mousekeeping Fantasy Closet and Spa is in order.

He is currently accepting requests for wishes on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and hopefully will not get fed up and quit after fulfulling the same requests over and over again

My husband, son and I have reservations at Hollywood and Vine at 8:15am. What time do I need to catch the boat to make the reservation?? This will be my first time at BC. Our last visit was BWV. Thanks!!

OK, I think I managed to get this T-Shirt printed! Unless they bounce my "Original, hand created design of 3 touching circles that do not in any way shape or form resemble previously copyrighted material!!!!" I believe you'll be seeing me in this T-shirt around Storm Along Bay from June 10th to the 20th.

It might be easier to find me just by closing your eyes and listening for the middle aged women yelling that the children are cheating at Marco Polo and they simply MUST stop opening their eyes!

I won't be wearing the t-shirt in the pool of course so just look for the lunatic with the chubby pool noodles. I'm ready to mail those down any minute now. Has anyone else noticed the sad state of affairs concerning pool noodles or is it just me? When they first came out they used to be nice and plump and now they are the equivalent of pool capellini! WTH!!!!

Although you would probably be fine catching the boat anytime before 7:45, to be on the safe side, I would plan on being at the dock around 7:30. It is an approximately 20 minute ride from the YC dock to HS once the boat arrives. I have only used the boats on EMH mornings and we found that the there was not always room on the first boat we tried to catch, around 7:30. Don't know if the situation is different on a morning if the park is opening at 9 am.
