I'm getting married 3/13/11 @ WP/ADH. Yay for all the 2011 weddings! Thanks for putting this together, I wish I found it sooner.
We just had our wedding planning appointment w/ Michelle and I feel pretty good about it.
A few things I took away:
You can edit the catering menus line by line - don't forget to remove the extra desserts to reduce costs (who needs cheesecake and wedding cake?)
The flowers are making me nuts. Has anyone priced out flowers yet? What are the relative costs for orchids, hydrangea, daisies? Scared to get that budget!!!
Also, I thought I could get away with a 2 tier mad hatter cake, but it doesn't seem possible. Why would they even give you the option of a sheet cake if you can't get a sheet cake? They remove the fondant anyway and serve the cake w/ butter cream so no one would be the wiser. AHHH! $500 in extra cake!!!
The final thing was the photography. I was pushing for the 6 hour package, but it was recommended I get the 8 hour one instead. Compelling argument about the brilliance album being included. How much does the brilliance album run individually? It's really nice, but is it worth it?
Any thoughts on flowers, photography or cake would be greatly appeciated!
