2011 Summer Promotions?

We are planning a visit for mid July 2011 and I was wondering if anyone had any idea if Disney offers any promotions during the summer? The free dining does not cover the week(s) we were planning for. I realize that this might be a little early but I can't remember if there were any summer promotions offered over the last couple of years and I realize the deluxe resorts book quickly during this time of year.

Hi! We're going the same time frame and have been wondering the same thing. Went ahead & booked our hotel b/c we were afraid they wouldn't have our room type if we have to pay full price. If they offer a room discount, might upgrade ;-)

We had an original 25% off deluxe promo and we booked in march I think for the end of July. I then received a 40% off pin code in June and upgraded. I hope that helps. Allears.net I think has the history of the promos from the past few years and when they came out.

If you were to book a room now for summer 2011, and a discount code comes out later, can you retroactively get the discount?

(I guess if you couldn't, you could just cancel and rebook, right?)
