Lauren, girlfriend, you are always welcome here! You are an INCREDIBLE after all!! Glad to see you back, don't be a stranger now!![]()
Thanks, Veronica!
Kathy, Lisa, and Lidsay--I wish I would have gotten my act together and returned to this board BEFORE the race. I hate that I missed meeting you!
I posted my trip report on my blog (baseballsandbows.com) if anyone wants to read it. It was such an amazing weekend!
I am SO goal oriented, so now I have to figure out what I am working towards. I spent a year and a month with the Princess as my big goal. I am thinking of doing another 5K in April and then another 5K or 10K in the summer with the big plan of the Women's Half in Nashville on September 24th. It won't be Disney, but it will be in my backyard, so that's a plus! The problem will be whether or not I can get my training in with my kids home during the summer. Training during the school year is much easier for me.
I am so glad to be back as an Incredible! I look forward to getting back into the groove and following along with everyone's progress!
It was so much fun meeting you and spending time with you and your lovely family. You should be proud of all you have accomplished this year!
My 12 min mile pace went right out the door once I saw the richard petty race car drivers. They tied the fireman for the sexy photo op of the race award.
Entertainment like that is priceless.

I try to remember I'm only competing against myself. But I'm sure if I had a husband, that would really piss me off. A saint patricks day parade sounds like it will be a blast. Will it end with a few kegs of guiness?
That is just wrong. I loved reading your blog and seeing all the pics. You looked beautiful. What an amazing day.
Glad dh was ok after the accident, but such a pain.
Hi Lauren! Sorry we missed you this time! Way to go signing up for the Nashville race!
for a PR on Sunday! You'll have to drink some green beer to celebrate, no matter what!
Unfortanetly my dh did beat me his time was something like 31:40. I was very proud of him for completing his first race. I have to say for the first half mile we ran together and Im not sure I liked it.
I am a worrier when it comes to my family and I almost felt like I was anxious about him, like if he was feeling ok. So I think I prefer to run alone.
