We (myself, DH and DS-15) did the tour on Monday Nov 14th and were in the first group of the 2011 Holiday season! It was a lot of fun and we learned some interesting things about Disney holiday traditions and holiday traditions around the world. We got a piece of fudge from the candy store on main street and a gingerbread man and a travel mug of hot chocolate from Clarabelle's in Toontown. We went on HMH, rode the train, then went on It's A Small World Holiday. We then got to see the official lighting ceremony for Small World, even though it had already been lit for 2 days
. We then watched the first showing of the Holiday Parade from the reserved seats and got a special pin to commemorate our tour.
Our tour guide Brit did an awesome job. He was funny and knew his stuff. At the very end we found out that this was his very first tour on his own! We got to watch him get his tour guide "D" pin from his supervisor and all of his fellow guides were there to witness it as well, it was a neat thing to be a part of!
Overall, it was a great way to end our Disneyland trip!
thanks for the review! get to make our ressie's tomorrow
