2011 Free Dining Bounceback...

You will definetly get regular dining plan for next year if you book while you stay onsite this year:)

I don't think this is correct. Just returned from AS Music... we had regular TS from last year's BB. No flyers were in the room except for the 40% room discount. Asked at the front desk about FD BB...they knew nothing. Called 3 times before getting a CM that could give me any info. I booked, but now that I am home I see that the offer is just a GP offer. You will not get regular dining at a value...it is QSDP. I booked CSR, but will probably end up canceling.

I did the same thing. I kept calling 8844 from my room and nobody knew anytning about a BB. Just the clock in the room. It was very hard to find a CM who knew anything and I asked CMs from all different departments. Then we returned home and I went on line. I saw the GP offer and rebooked the next morning. :cheer2: At this time I'm just holding my place in line, dates can change.

We just returned from WDW and there was no free dining bouceback for us in our room...we just had the clock with the room % discount. When we called the cast member didn't know anything about a bounceback but when DH asked about free dining he said there were dates available. The price he quoted us seemed high...almost $1000.00 more than the current price we paid so we said we would call back. Then the day of checkout we called and the reservation system was down so we couldn't book before we checked out. When we got home I checked the rates and saw that FD was being offered already so there was no need to book at the resort because there was no extra savings. Anyone else notice the price increase? Is that the norm for Disney...we would be there again exactly a year from the day we arrived. We got our stay this year for around $3540 10 day park passes with hopper and water parks with free basic dining...next year it is going to be and it will be around $4553 with all the same passes and free dining.

Are you looking at the same date range for next year too? Sometimes the higher/lower pricing shifts across the dates a bit. I found that by playing around with my check in date for next year it made a significant difference to the quoted price.

We booked Port Orleans for bounceback next year, but not really a bounceback, QS for Values, Had to book a moderate or higher to get regular dining plan. The value for us is not there anymore, also making us book a 2 day minimum base park ticket with the plan, we will probably cancel, cant see how this offer will be any different than regular booking for dining next year. This was our 6th free dining in a row, since the start, it was a great run while it lasted, gave us experiences that we never would have dreamed of doing before!!!

Same for us. We have had FD at a value 5 years in a row. Looks like those days are gone. We booked CSR, but it is way too expensive and I'm sure we will be canceling. Like you said it was great while it lasted...we were able to have 5 wonderful vacations!! :goodvibes

Is the 40% off a BB offer? That would actually be perfect for us because we want to go next fall. If we book a 40% room rate for next year, it might make sense to upgrade our tickets to annual passes while we are there.

You guys do know that you can still book value and upgrade the qsdp to the reg for less than it costs to upgrade to a mod?
That is what we did this year.... next year we may go MOD just because I want to try a mod

We just returned from WDW and there was no free dining bouceback for us in our room...

We were at Pop from 8/22 through today. Also, no free dining flyer when we checked in, but we booked bounceback when we called on our second day. On the 27th the bounceback flyer was left in our room.

So no better deal than the General Public offer? Are the booking dates any different?

Was the BB flyer for FD or room discounts? :goodvibes

I wouldn't necessarily call it a bounce-back flyers - it seemed to me like a flyer that anyone could use - there was no specifications to call before midnight on a check out like previous years - it was a general flyer with the same deal as the one online....we booked CBR with standard pirate room it was a difference of $500 to upgrade to regular dining the POP and getting the pirate room in CBR, so we decided to try the CBR, so I really hope its worth it.
