I am not much of a stasher, but I have some things that I have held on to way to long and unless someone here screams "DON"T at me I am going to clear it out by the end of the week. Many years ago I bought about a dozen collectible Teddy Bears, all in the 100-150 dollar range. They have been hogging room on a basement shelf for over 10 years now, and I have no intention of ever doing anything with them. I have checked for years and they are basically unsellable on ebay, which I have never attempted to use anyway. I know I will not in anyway miss them if they are gone--I have just held on to them because of the amount of money they cost and it seems just nuts to dump them at the Salvation Army, but that is just what I am going to do unless someone has a better idea? I want that shelf space once and for all!
Maybe Children's Hospital, Cancer Center, Battered Women's Shelter or along those ideas? What child going through a rough time doesn't need a teddy bear to hug.
Heck, even a nursing home.
Thanks for the input, but they are more put on a shelf and look at bears--paritally wooden and overrall hard--not the hugging type.
I was determined to work on it this week cause DH is out of town...but my furbaby died and I am just so heartbroken I can barely function. I am shocked that it is hitting me so hard.
Aw I'm so sorry about your furbaby.
They're such special members of the family, aren't they? Was yours a kitty or puppy? Hope your memories help comfort you. Big hugs![]()
He was a ferret actually. But he acted like a puppy. He was wherever I was and always wanted to be snuggled. I just can't believe he's gone.
I am so sorry for your loss. Our bunny passed away on Saturday, so I totally understand how you feel. I'm in a funk and just can't get out of it since. Takes some time, I guess. Hugs to you. I'm really sorry.![]()
Ours was Saturday too! But the vet accidentally left the message on my husband's work voicemail late at night so we didn't find out until this morning.
