2011 DDP - If "history" holds true...

...they ought to release the new dining plan and tickets prices/packages next Sunday.

I don't know if this will hold true or not, but according to Mousesavers, they've released these packages on the first Sunday in August for the last 4 or 5 years. That would make them "due" next Sunday.

Anybody wanna place dibs?

I think you're right, but I think I'd hold onto them until January. Rumor has it that all of the restaurants don't sign on until January...

3rd party restaurants typically sign on late - trying to negotiate the best deal until the last minute. Disney-owned locations should all be on the plan when it is first released.

For the record, the list of participating restaurants has remained fairly stable over the years. I would certainly not cancel anything until final confirmation is out.

Here's the response I got regarding the new dining plan:

Please know that the 2011 Disney Dining Plan will include the same entitlements as the previous year. I hope your next visit is filled with many more special memories.

I'm still going to make my ressies and just base it on the 2010 list, if I have to change a couple I'll deal with it or if its something I really want I'll pay OOP. I'd just rather know sooner than later.
