Does anyone know how many CL just lagoon views there are? Do you think it is possible to request a lagoon view? I know there are no guarantees

Not sure if you've seen the pictures on page 1, post 5, of the rooms. Kind of gives you the flavor of the layout. I missed what your reference to the BLT was but there is an old web site http://www.disneyzone.net/bcresort.htm that might help. Note that all the catagories are bogus as this is really really old.

I would love to see that disneyzone map updated. Thanks for posting.

I'm starting to think we should stay CL @YC...hmmmm I wonder why right

If I booked with a pin can I call up and upgrade(if it's still available) even though the pin has expired now?
Of course if I can I am thinking I would have to get downgraded to SV rather than GV, which I have right now but not CL. Does this make sense My DH would be looking at me with 5 heads right now, but I know you guys understand hwat I am saying...
If I can't upgrade to CL with my pin then I think we will do the DxDP 'cause I think that it would cost the same as going CL...

and I agree everyone is so great on here. I think sometimes it's hard to read how people say things cause we are not seeing their expressions, so smilies work wonders. I don't think you can ever use enough

At the BC, there are 26 water/lagoon view rooms. From all of them you can see the lake.

Even on club level, the difference is normally less than $10 a day between standard and garden.

And Cape May, IMO, is the absolute best buffet on property. I've been there on three different occassions and it was the first thing that made me want to look more closely at the Beach Club.

Heather - I don't know if you saw my reply to your earlier post but we had a one bedroom Epcot view room last August. I asked for "not 1st floor" (because I'm afraid of critters after reading a horrible thread about snakes in Florida!) and "Epcot view." Both requests were honored and we loved watching the upper fireworks from Illuminations. We could even see Wishes off to side a few nights!!!

I hate to tell y'all this but there is no more room in the time out corner for this BC/YC thread because Marlton Mom is living there in perpetuity.

I strive to be the biggest 'offender' at posting off topic items and (Not so) helpful hints. Yeah sure, you can depend on Teena and everyone else here to give you the skinny on the room views and Buffet menus, but only Marlton Mom is going to tell you the truth about things like the "bounce back clock" and the official Beach Club label merchandise..... like the official Beach Club Speedo for Husbands who forget their bathing suits:

Notice how it's LIME GREEN so everyone will know your husband has a wife who subscribes to this Dis Board thread!

So don't bother looking for the Beach Club Logo or any hidden Mickeys on this baby. They've been hidden for years and they are not coming out any time soon so save yourself the trouble!

As you have seen from other responses, yes, crab legs every night.

Here is a link to my review of our dinner at the Cape May if you want to check it out. Lots of pictures. There are a lot of options other than seafood, but seafood stars in my photos because that's what we love!

I've just booked our flights and reserved a YC CL GV room for next March! It is forever away, but at least it is booked.

So now I'll be even more glued to this thread, and I'll be watching the codes and discounts discussions waiting for the 2012 packages and discounts.

This is a big time three banana day for us!

You guys are crazy ... BUT ... I've seen things almost that bad walk by me in the lobby. I so want to yell, "they make cover-ups ... in all sizes and colors ..... please, please, cover up. It's fair game once you are at the pool but do you really have to walk half naked through the lobby, especially when you do not look like Ryan Reynolds!!" But I just smile and try not to throw up.
