2011/2012 Reunion Cruise?

LOL...Hal saw the link for the Aquaduck adn was like BOOK IT!! LOL...I am like huh..we are paying for this how??? THe kids are ready to give up Alaska!!

Hal wants the Maiden Voyage..I want to go but have to see what the prices are. He was saying back to back!! I told him to get some side work! :lmao:

We're thinking that we won't be able to go on the inaugural, but hopefully sometime that year we will be able to another cruise on the dream. We are definately up for a reunion!!! Just let us know!!!

When I saw the Dream itineraries, I decided to wait until the next ship as 4 days is just not long enough! But after looking at the pics some more, I knew I couldn't wait!

I put in a request with my TA to book the 17 April 4 night, as I think that'll be Jasmine's Spring break.

We went up to Cedar Pt in Sandusky Ohio last weekend. It was fun, but cold! LOTS of roller coasters!!

I'll be going to Wright Patterson AFB on Monday, so I can get Laser Eye Surgery. The actual procedure will be on Wednesday, and then I stay there for a week to recover.

Has anyone else put in a request for the Dream yet?

Yes, thinking about a back to back since the Dream is only doing the 4 and 3 days.

:thumbsup2 That's what we were thinking too. However, I'll have to see the pricing first. :rolleyes1 Luckily, we still have some money tied up with DCL. So, the financial blow should be less. Bill has looked into transferring our current reservation to the Dream. However, I was suppose to gauge when the kids will have Spring Break. So, he can book it. I have been so pre-occupied making final plans for our upcoming November/December WDW trip, DAP and ADB trip. I need to get going on making Dream plans. :cloud9:

I thought about doing a B2B, but even that'd mean- 2 days at CC, 2 days at Nassau, 1 day at sea, and 1 day at Port Canaveral.

We've still got a non-refundable suite deposit we can transfer over, so we'll go for the 4 night in an inside cabin (none of the std outsides are midship, and I don't want to pay for a verandah on a 4 nt). I'm curious to see the virtual porthole -- looks fun!

 Aren't those cool? I never would have considered an inside room in the past. However, with the virtual portholes, we may have to give it a try. :thumbsup2

Where did you see the Dream's itineraries and sail dates????? I can't find any "official" dates yet. Inquiring minds want to know ...

We're considering B2B 4-3 nights on Dream too. Of course, we have to survive our February cruise before we make any decisions about the future!

I just sent you an email with my TA's info. But I think all the dates are on the DCL website now. There are definitely pics of the Dream up.

I got a cat 11B midship on deck 7 for $1112 on April 17 2011. I'm curious to see the virtual porthole. And since I already have a $1,000 deposit down it feels like I'm getting a free cruise!

Very cool! When we saw the prices for the MV we were like...I don't think so :lmao:!! For that price we can do a 7 nite!!

Well Tina and I just booked also!!:yay::banana: We had the same mindset as everyone else; $2,500 for a 4-night maiden voyage is RIDICULOUS!! So what we are doing instead is a B-2-B in September around Labor Day!! For a b-2-b, just the two of us, on an inside stateroom (7th deck) it is only going to be $1,560. :scared1: We were like, OK!! Plus, we already have a $500 deposit on our dummy cruise and the deposit on this one is $800, so we just have to come up with $300. Then we have almost 2 years to pay off $800!! And we've never been to Nassau. It's a WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN!!! :woohoo:

We're sticking with our Alaska cruise in July 2011 but I may see what I can work out for the Dream that year. The YouTube video was very cool.

 I have a question, are you already "officially" booked on the cruise? How many past Disney cruises have y'all been on? We tried to transfer our current cruise, but have to wait until Monday to book on the Disney Dream because we're only Silver CC Members. :guilty:

Did you have to use a TA? We keep getting denied as we are only "Silver" Castaway Club members. :confused3 Waiting stinks. :lmao:

That's the great thing about having a SIL that's a TA AND a Platinum CC Member!! She's the best!! We're all going that September, so it will be Me, Robby, SIL, BIL, and Niece. It's going to be a blast!! I hope some of you guys will be able to go then too.

We are doing Alaska with Brack and I just bought the airline tickets to Barcelona for the TA WB. We are thinking about booking a 2011 on the Dream while we are onboard on TA. We will see how the $$ is. :)
