I might be crazy, but I think our thread is missing some posts. I thought I read a post last night from Kelleigh1 about shoes and I responded to it. I don't see them now. Maybe it is me or we can blame it on the time change "Spring Forward", or I need more tea.

Question... I will be driving from MCO to Disney... I want to stop and buy a bottle of champagne to celebrate DD's recent achievements and her engagement... Where would be a good place to do this?? Anyone have thoughts or ideas??

Good morning and happy daylight savings ! It's been really busy here, so I haven't had a chance to pop in and share our excitement...

So the "sad" news is that by this time next week we'll already be checking out of the YC CL...

...but the good news is that we'll be heading to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Dream...

...and the other good news is that after our cruise, we head back for another 2 nights at the YC CL!!!

We stayed at the BC last year and loved it. Can't wait to try the YC!!!

I'm always the big trip planner, and while DH and our twin DS13 get excited about our trips, they don't get to enjoy the weeks and months and anticipation the way I do. DH and I were out for dinner on Friday night and we went through the plans (yes, I have spreadsheets!). It's a little diffferent this year because we're bringing my inlaws with us...their first time staying on WDW property and first trip since DH was a teenager (and yes, that was several decades ago!). I want to be sure everyone is doing things they want to do. It was fun to watch DH really get into the spirit. Amazing some of the detail he's forgotten despite 3 trips in the last 5 years, but at least he's a fan!

Hey everyone! Dh and I just returned from 7 nights at POFQ last night, but instead of being sad about being home we are really excited that we booked the bounce back offer in our room for the BEACH CLUB! We will be there Oct 27 to Nov 3! We cant wait to enjoy the food and wine festival again. We have not made it down in the fall since 2009 and I cant wait to read this whole thread!

Dealt with BC IPO last night and got a fabulous response, so quick. Decided on the gift baskets and ordered stuff from the Disney store online to be delivered to them for me. HAD to add a Disney t-shirt for me to get free shipping. LOL

Just asked DS if he would rather be closer to SAB or have an Epcot view, and he said, "Epcot view. DUH!" That's my boy!

Will IPO add that to my room request, or will I have to call Guest relations directly? Don't want to overwhelm IPO with too much stuff.

Hopefully there will be no big refurb on SAB when we are there, since we are planning on spending more time there than in the parks (blasphemy!! LOL)

I understand, but I think that the reason why the veterans who can answer the questions keep coming back, and the reason why we get live trip reports is because we all have so much fun here. It's because of our chats that this thread such a depth of experience to answer newbie questions from people like me! JMHO of course.

I'd bet a million Grey Goose Slushies that your post wasn't deleted intentionally but was probably eaten by some server malfunction.

Don't fret! The Mod's watching this board are here to help and be supportive, just like us! They are pretty above board and if they did something like intentionally delete a post they would more than likely talk to you about it.

Hi Nanette, I've driven down from Ft/ Lauderdale, and have made a stop at the Publix across from Premium Outlet Mall on Vineland, and picked up wine. They prob have champagne too?

Thinking of returning to BC in Aug currently booked 12 nights at AKL, but now thinking of AKL/BC split, 6 & 6, just to keep things even Or POR/BC split.
Maybe I should be on the resort changers thread

We really loved our stay last Aug at BC.

Now off on Spring Break so I have more time to catch up on the boards Esp since currently it's gray and rainning outside

Been a DIS member forever. I am a frequent poster on the Creative DISigns and lurk on AK & BW as I am a DVC member at both of them. I am going in Sept (by myself) for my only trip this year. I booked Beach Club DVC 1 BR which is more points than BW standard. I will be by myself (DH will be starting a new job) & I want a 1 BR for the space and washer/dryer and it will be my only trip this year (I know I said that but I made 4 trips last year and I am not a happy camper that I only get one this and probably next.)
Anyway, I am now a subscriber so I can learn all there is to learn about this resort, so thank you all in advance. Penny

Hey if you need a travel companion in September, all you need to do is ask ! I've been travelling with the PA thread ladies now since 2008, just got back this week from another great trip with them.

This thread has sooooooo much info and everyone is extremely nice. It's the friendliest resort-specific thread I've ever subscribed to!

I noticed it was missing this morning too and I was thinking "did someone delete it?" And I was so ridiculously tired that I didn't even think that it might be have something to do with Daylight Savings.
