Oh man my DS14 is going to FREAKING LOVE THIS coffee machine - he thinks he's all cool having coffee & espresso & cafe latte, etc. He's going to be in that lounge more than the parks!

Think of all the $$$ you will save by having his caffeine fix "included" in your price! ;)

17th La hacienda ( this may change as I forgot that duh always likes to go to mk the first night)
18th flying fish ( really excited to try here)
19th raglan road ( we have friends that will be stating at SSS and this is our night to hang out with them, we have 5:15 ressies and plan on heading to mk after)
20th via Napoli
21st ohana
22nd chef mickeys for breakfast
23rd nothing need to add something just don't know.
24th home :sad2:
We are on reg. dining and are planning on paying oop for a couple of meals.. What does everyone suggest? How do these ressies look?

We have never done any of these meals. We have done Chef Mickey's for dinner and will be trying breakfast this April. I would, however, suggest that you add Cape May Cafe to your line up. It's my husband's absolute favorite meal. In fact, it's the only request he has the whole vacation. It has a nice variety of seafood and non-seafood options. It's also a great choice when you are on the meal plan, as it is one of the more expensive buffets.

Like 333disneymom, we haven't tried many of the meals on your list. But like her, I would also suggest adding Cape May, or something close by the resort(Captain's Grille, or a restaurant in EPCOT), on your last night. You could also switch your La Hacienda to the last night if you are going to be in MK on the first night.

The K-Cups won't work in these coffee makers.

They are shallower pods that go in these machines.

You have been holding out on me!!! The only thing I love more than food porn is caffeine porn!!!

Thanks for the very detailed pictures!

I told you I had this thread in mind when I took them! :rotfl: (But, alas, this was the last of them.) Strange how it is sideways here, but upright in my photobucket account

You are so smart! Now I can justify the cost of CL to DH woo hoo!! :cool1:

Seriously, between coffee savings and breakfast savings, you are probably making money on the upgrade!!

Ok is it just me or are the times on our posts wrong? The last one I posted says 3:49pm...um, it's not 3:49pm yet here! I thought the DIS was always on EST?!

Tara - says 4:27 pm on your last post. I wish...since that would mean 15 minutes until I leave work, instead of an hour.

So here's a question...we are planning Cape May (breakfast and dinner) for our trip. We also have Flying Fish on the list. I'd thought Flying Fish on our first night and Cape May breakfast on the day we leave. Does this sound like a good plan? We don't have flights yet, but we like to start our vacations early so we take early am flights. Will we be too tired on the first day to really enjoy FF?

Hi everyone. I have been combing through the pictures on the first page :surfweb: and can't tell from them if there is a jacuzzi at the quiet pool at the villas. I thought I saw it mentioned but don't see it in any pics. Did I miss it?

Not only are the post times wonky, but the order of posts is too. A couple of pages back, Dee quotes one of my photos, that doesn't show up on the thread until after her post.

Kelleigh1- we love to end our first day with a "special" meal. And we are usually our of our house by 3am to catch our flight! I wouldn't make it too late though, just in case. I usually aim for a 6pm ADR time, at a restaurant close to or in the resort itself. I think FF to cap off a first day is a GREAT idea! It's one of our favorite places! :goodvibes

Another snow day today!!! What a storm we had. It hit at 11 and they closed the schools. White out conditions, school busses in ditches, the whole deal. And we are super-used to snow storms here but this was brutal. Come on, vacation!!!! :)

And I know you guys will get it - tomorrow my ticker will start with a 2!!! :cool1:

There is a jacuzzi at the Villas pool. What is referred to as the "quiet" pool is at Beach Club Resort (meaning the Villas only has one pool, so no need to designate it as quiet or not!).

Thank you! That is what I was thinking when I first marked it as the "opening" night dinner.

My husband is going to be so happy about the pod makers.. He is a coffee addict.. We have a keurig and don't know what coffee packs will work because I will for sure pack them.. Also, we are headed from the 17-thru the 24th of April.. I have the following ressies wanted to know what you all thought. We are string at the Bc pool/water view..

loganpaulsmom, these look great! We have three boys (ages 5, 11 and 12) and we've been to all the restaurants on your list, except for Raglan Road (we don't spend much time in DTD anymore.) La Hacienda and Via Napoli are at the top of our list of non-signature restaurants - we love the menus and the open, airy atmosphere at both. Ohana is great fun and so is Chef Mickey's. While the food isn't the best at Chef Mickey's, it's a classic and a really fun time. Flying Fish has a great menu and it's easy to wait out on the Boardwalk watching the entertainment after checking in for an ADR. I agree with Dee - might make sense to move La Hacienda to your last night and make an ADR in the MK area for your first night - we love California Grill in the MK area, or if you wanted something more casual in the park, Liberty Tree is one of our favorites.

Thanks for this info!

BTW- does anyone have a picture of the BCV pool? I just noticed I don't have one on the first page.

Still looking for a deck level picture of the YC quiet pool, too. I have one taken from a room, but I am looking for a full picture.

:welcome: lurkers and new folks!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list on page 1- if you haven't provided exact dates for checkin/checkout, post here and I will update your info.

p.s. I've been lurking on these pages, this is the friendliest thread on the boards! :lovestruc

We do have fun here!

Also, we are headed from the 17-thru the 24th of April.. I have the following ressies wanted to know what you all thought. We are string at the Bc pool/water view..

We will be staying at the Beach Club for the 1st time at the end of August. It's only for two but it will be great because we have never stayed there before. Looking forward to the pool area. Our remaining days will be spent at CBR.

I just booked our first trip to the Beach Club in September 2012!
Our last trip was in 2008 and was a Make a Wish trip for my daughter. We're heading back to celebrate how wonderfuly she has been doing and just because we LOVE Disney!!! This will be my kids' first time staying on property.
To be honest, BC wasn't even one of the first resorts I considered, but after seeing the pool and reading these threads, we can't wait to get there!!!:banana::banana:

I am so glad to hear things are going well for your daughter. What a fantastic reason to celebrate!

IQuestion for the YC folks: Do any of the CL garden view rooms look at something other than the wedding gazebo? That was the view we had last year, which was awesome, but curious what the other choices are. TIA!!

I don't know the answer to this, but I'm BUMPING it up for you!
