Dee and MM, you are cracking me up! And believe me, I need a laugh today. Our precious 14 1/2 year old doggie died today. :sad1: I am devastated but am sick to my stomach waiting for the kids to come home to tell them. They are going to be completely torn to pieces. They adore the dog.

Send some positive thoughts my way, if you have any to spare.

I am so sorry!!! What a sad day. My thoughts go out to your family, especially the kids for your loss.

I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your family today.

I think the only 'snake' that's left hangs around the Boardwalk. ;)

That is Certainly Right!

And you can't even look up the number to find an exterminator!

Hey, no insides jokes! "CR" might be a clue, though. :scratchin

So sorry to hear that. Was he/she sick or was it sudden? It's so hard to lose a pet.

Oh I'm so sorry!! I too am one of those people that knows a pet is just as much a part of the family as any human.

I'll be thinking of you and the family and sending peaceful thoughts your way.

Feckless, I'm so very sorry for your loss. That is one of the hardest things to go through. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!

So sorry for your loss. We lost our 14 year old Golden last July and my 15 year old Malamute is going downhill very quickly.

 This week is the 7 year anniversary of the death of my beloved 1st dog and I remember it so well. I'm so sorry for you!

Sorry about the inside joke. Although I don't really want to rehash the circumstances leading to this response, if someone was curious enough to want to investigate, they might want to read page 95 and then start around page 103 of the previous thread (Part III).

Be warned though. You will encounter a picture of Borat in a mankini. You don't want to click in the wrong places!

OMG, I'm a super sleuth! :lmao: I seriously thought "CR" had to do with that because I had read the thread (not the BC/YC thread, but "the thread") at the time it was posted on the resorts board and completely remember it. The mention of 'BW' and 'CR' gave it away for me! LOL Hey, I just learned the other day that the person in question was a guy -- I thought it was a socially awkward girl these past couple of years.

Love the Borat photo -- I didn't click on it though in case it linked me to something my work wouldn't approve of!

Yeah!
What she said.... think of it... as a deterrent!

And as for who ever had the nerve to post that abomination of a photo, well I just have to wonder about their sanity and lack of 'taste'.

It just links to my Flickr account. No naughty pictures of Marlton Mom in compromising positions if that's what you were worried about! Why heck I don't even post food por n, unlike a thread maven who shall be unnamed...

Speaking of resort wear, we'll know that it's arrived at the Beach Club when you see husbands who forgot to pack their swim suits strolling around Storm Along Bay in that lime green Man-kini.

Does the Spa do 'WAXING'?

(I KNOW, I KNOW.... that visual is worse than posting the picture!)

I haven't seen any rats, but you would not believe the size of the mice running rampant all over the World. They are everywhere!

(sorry, it had to be said)

Yes, it did! :worship:

My sweet baby left us at 18 1/2 in October and I know how awful you are feeling today...and the dread of telling the kids.

Was your fubaby sick or was this completely unexpected? It doesn't matter...I am so very sorry.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I was right there in your position almost exactly one year ago.

Why can't I pick a restaurant?! I am still having such a hard time choosing a dinner for just Chuck and I. At least choosing the resort was not this hard!:thumbsup2 I am about ready ready to just say forget because I can't choose.:confused3

Thanks Dee! I read all the info I could find on deluxe rooms. Sounds like I should request a full balcony (or patio).

Feckless - I'm so sorry for your loss. Our 10+ year old dog had cancer surgery in October and has been on chemo. I fear for the day when we lose her.... You have my sympathy and good thoughts. :sad1: :grouphug:

I've been home from Disney for less than 24 hours and I'm going crazy trying to plan my next trip!

Amanda

Just to be clear - that's four snakes in 14 trips!

That's still FOUR snakes too many LOL!!! We have 5-foot black snakes here around our house so you'd think I'd be used to it. I'M NOT.

Feckless, so sorry to hear about your dog.

We've been here since early 2004 and I saw ten times more snakes in Pennsylvania than I've seen here at our house (huge field and lake across the street from us) and at WDW. I remember once when I was on the riding lawn mower in Pennsylvania and a huge snake came out from under some brush. I totally panicked and drove the lawn mower into a tree. Bob mowed the lawn after that. Smart move on my part!
