OK, so I decided to post a holiday card to everyone here using some pictures I just know you're going to love. Here are some of my favorite holiday scenes from Walt Disney World!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!
:grouphug: Marlton Mom

What beautiful pics!! I LOVE them! Thanks for posting them!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Whether or not a room is ready for you at 8 AM depends on how many rooms we carry clean from the night before. In other words, if we are 100% occupied, obviously unless your assigned room checks out at 6 AM, there won't be a clean room ready for you at 8 AM. But if we aren't full on club level and we have a clean room ready that meets your requests, you'll get it. I would guess at that time of the year, unless a convention is there, we should not be full so there could be a decent chance you'll get a clean room early. If you don't have any room requests, just tell the CM that checks you in that you really would like a clean room as soon as possible and you don't care about any specific room requests.

Thank you so much for your reply!
We don´t have any requests whatsoever, so fingers crossed! I was just asking because after and 8 hour flight all we´ll want to do is shower and rest for an hour or two and then hit the parks, so........now I know we have chances of getting our room at that time.
:thanks:

So I found out a week ago that a relative was going to Disney this coming week. They (mom, dad, 5yo girl, and the mom's aunt) just decided to take the trip around a month ago. Yeah, well as the dad says "if I knew then....". So I managed to snag them a breakfast one morning at Cape May so that they will have at least one guarenteed character interaction, but I'm not sure on which. Website says Minnie, Goofy, Donald. Anyone eaten there lately can tell me the current lineup?

I'm going to stalk the website for the next couple days looking for a resort/MK princess meal, or try to find out where the MK meets are.

At least they'll get to see the BC.

Thanks Teena. They are thrilled to have ANY character meal and think the little girl will be happy with Minnie and some Mickey waffles. They hadn't realized there were character meals outside the parks so I was happy to have found that one for them.

I talked forever with them today trying to get them the best plan for the parks and to make sure they had realistic expectations.

The parks will be soooo crowded. Make sure they are there for the early openings ... that first hour or so will make a big difference in what they can actually experience!

Merry Christmas to all our Yacht & Beach Club family!

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and great day. A special thank you to Teena (and Bob) for making so many people's days magical. Even on Christmas you are working for others! Thanks!

Mike and MM, the pictures are absolutely beautiful. DW just looked at them and declared that we're going to WDW next Christmas!

Go ahead.... twist my arm. Ok.... stop, stop it hurts! Oh ok.... we'll go.

Merry Christmas to all!

I haven't had a chance to get on here much during our visit and after. Still need to catch up. The kids got their surprise and when we arrived we got MAJOR pixie dust they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite and club level. We were so overwhelmed I got teary eyed. Never in our wildest dreams would have thought something like that would happen to us. We have the upmost respect and admeration for the Beach Club and all of their staff. Of course we met Teena and absolulty love her. She is very special lady and they are lucky to have her. The club level staff were always very nice and not at all "hovering" they always made us feel welcome. We ran into our mousekeeper from our last visit and she remembered us. She really touched our hearts and was great to see and visit with her. While there we scoped out the Poly for a posibility on our next trip. Just didn't feel right the Beach Club is our HOME.

Tinkerbelle's Mama that is SOOOOO exciting!!! Good for you! My next stay is a split between BC & Poly so I can check them both out for a few nights each, but I think I will absolutely fall in love with BC!

Hope everyone had a very merry christmas! Or a Happy Holiday, if you have a different celebration this time of year.

They're both fantastic!! The Poly is our home, but BC is our beach house. ;)

Trying to decide what to book for our late spring/early summer trip. We're doing a split between AKL and BC. Trying to decide whether we'll be in our room enough to enjoy a view or not. Of course, we once had a view of Spaceship Earth from our "parking lot view" that I loved!! Decisions, decisions...

Good luck with your decisions. My inclination would be to get the best possible view at AKL and not worry about the BC view since my family spends significantly more time in the parks (or pool) than in the room.

We also had an amazing "parking lot view" one year- we could see the high fireworks from Illuminations and we had a great view of the MK Nightastic show.

I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday!

Marlton Mom- thanks so much for sharing those amazing photos to put us in the Christmas spirit (and to make us jealous about traveling to the world during the holiday season). What year was that trip?

Here's an adorable photo of Teena's grandaughter Lily discovering Christmas:

Notice in the background there is a Mickey head shaped wreath!

Bob and I can't wait to have Christmas with her ... two more weeks!!
