I have a Canon Powershot D10 (12.1 Megapixels). Takes videos, too.

The main reason I chose this camera is that it is waterproof to 10 meters (33 feet), so I can use it to take pictures while snorkeling or on water rides at the theme parks. It is great at the beach and I will put it through the paces at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas in April.

When I am on vacation, the thing never leaves my wrist! I love that I don't have to worry about it being stolen since I don't have to leave it behind in a beach bag when I go into the water.

The disadvantages are that it is a little bulkier than I would like- it doesn't fit comfortably into my pocket, and swimming with it is a little awkward. I have a floating wrist strap in case I drop it.

So we picked up the noodles today and dropped them off and went to the Yaht Club for dinner. When we got back to the room this is what we saw:

Wow...lots of excitement, gorgeous pictures of Lilly and all of the ups and downs of everyday life!

We will not be at the YC for our anniversary. I went with my heart's desire to stay at the GF at least once. So we are scheduled there for 2/28-29 but I plan to still visit this site and see how everyone is faring.

Of course I can't wait to see Mike's live report because Christmas is such a great time at WDW.

Lauren and I are going to hit the Candlelight Processional on Thursday (5:00) and then hit B&C for burgers. Hopefully I'll see some of you guys there ... of course you probably won't know it's me without my "costume" on.

I didn't think I was getting to Candlelight this year but Lauren suggested it this morning and we're going to do it!!

Looks like Paul is getting along fine in Pastina's absence...

Excuse me!.. but that IS Pastina!!! She is much skinnier now that she is back from the Ashram. Apparently all the delicious and healthy Indian food and Yoga does that to a pool noodle.

I would never cheat on Pastina and I don't know how the paparazzi got a hold of our room key! If I catch that little bugger I'm going to give him a wedgie in the pool!

Hi everyone! Newbie here. I have just booked a studio at the Beach Club Villas from 9/8-9/15/12. There is SO much to look through here, but thanks to everyone that has posted such helpful information. DS is 9 years old (today!) and is beside himself with excitement for this trip. We have never gone to Disney for a whole week and have never stayed on site. And at this point I am giddy just about the Magical Express bus and not having to deal with baggage claim.

I am sure I will be posting some questions as they come up if I can't find the answer in these beach club threads. Which seems unlikely at this point.

Thanks again to all of the folks that put so much work into this!

I know we would never choose this week to be in wdw but we are going with a family of 29 to be there own tour guides for the week, everything paid for @ the beach club club level! i've made dining ressies for us the whole week cause we have the DLXDP! Thanks to the concierge's help, we have some really good ones, for a group of 32 and just made them 2 wks ago. we are also early risers and we are used to getting up and being @ the parks when they open. we have our own private coach bus but i understand that we can just walk to epcot and i believe we will take the disney bus to MK. We are very excited about this trip and we are going to try and make this family have the best vacation in disney. any tips would be great, we've never stayed @ the BC before only Cape May for breakfast and dinner.

If things go as planned and CM rates open up for that cruise, we are hoping to be on the 7 night Magic cruise that leaves on Friday, April 13th.

hi there, long time lurker coming out of lurkdom to because we are checking in to the BC club level on Jan 5th. DH is running the marathon and my girls (10 and 13) don't have a clue We are planning on picking them up at school that day and telling them we are headed to VT to go skiing (let's hope that they aren't disappointed that we really aren't LOL) and then just heading to the airport. After they get over the shock that we are going to WDW, they will find out that we are going with our good friends when we "bump" into them at the airport I can't believe I kept this secret for MONTHS!! We will be there from the 5th to the 11th!

We started out with extra magic hours and hit Soarn, Captian EO, Innoventions, Via Napoli, Italy, American Adventures, Japan, France, Kim Possible (in the rain), UK, Canada, Rose Crown with the best view of Illuminations I have ever had.

I posted on my facebook that I had one of those overwhelming moments of emotion. And of course Joe caught it on film. We were watching the fireworks on the patio of Rose and Crown and Charlie came up behind me and wrapped his arms around me after looking at Joeseph soo excited about the view. It was one of those moments when all the hard work, medical issues of the year and all the stress just melts away and life is just wonderful.

By the way thank you for all the votes for the grey goose slushie, it was soo good! (In this picture we meet some new friends behind us )

We went to our first DVC mixer! So much fun!

Except for a short period of rain and a rude guy sitting by us at dinner (he left before the fireworks) It was a picture perfect day at Epcot! What topped it all off was the very short distance back to our room using the short cut!
