The snow plow is going by, but who cares - we leave in 4 days! Everyone is home from school so today is a perfect day to get the bags packed. I am trying to avoid my norm - packing the night before.

We had bad weather yesterday as well. 3 more sleeps for me til BCV!!
So you arrive late on Monday? Or Sunday?

Dee - I need a small change on my dates.

As you know we were originally scheduled for the Dolphin July 16-18 and BC July 18-27.

We found out we can get Universal tickets with our AMEX points so we changed to Royal Pacific Resort July 16-19 and BC July 19-27.

We aren't going to tell the kids until we pull up at the Royal Pacific. They've been itching to go to Universal since we haven't been there since 2006!

I saw you post this and almost fell off my chair! We can use AMEX points to get Universal Tickets?? I did not know this. Can you please tell me how to accomplish this? Does it work for JetBlue AMEX too do you think?

Just got free dining for our trip Sept 23-29! We had booked a one bedroom villa at BCV with deluxe dining for 4 adults. Called this morning when I saw the Visa FD was released and saved $1246.96! Soooo happy!

Hello again! I haven't been on this thread for awhile, but just made reservations for YC CL for Oct 24th to Oct 30th. It will be my first time at the YC, so I am excited to stay there. Haven't made plane reservations yet...hope I can find a good fare. Looking forward to catching up on the latest from this thread.

I'll make the adjustment. Let me know if I can help you with any "Dark Side" questions. I have a list of Top Ten hints at the end of my TR, but the most important one of all is that if you show your AAA, you get discounts on almost all shopping and dining.

Can you add me to the guest list? I will be returning to the Beach Club on May 5 til May 9, my DH and I will be celebrating our 2nd anniversary!! We stayed there on our Disneymoon in 2010 and loved it! I'm really hoping for a room with a full balcony, I don't care about anything else, I'll just be so happy to be back at my beloved Beach Club for a few days!

Resort Activities

There are many activities like volleyball, BINGO, poolside Karaoke, and t-shirt decorating held daily at SAB for guests staying at YC, BC or BCV.

Activities change daily and guest will receive an activities calendar upon check in.


A Campfire Sing-Along and Marshmallow Roast is held nightly on the beach in front of SAB. According to recent reports, marshmallows and sticks are provided but if you want to make 'smores you need to bring your own chocolate and graham crackers. I believe these items are available for purchase at the BC Marketplace.

Following the campfire nightly is "Movies Under the Stars".

Campfire time for February is ????. Movie follows at 7:00 pm.

Sundays - Enchanted
Mondays - The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Tuesdays - Gnomeo & Juliet
Wednesdays - Beauty & the Beast
Thursdays - Tarzan
Fridays - Wall-E
Saturdays - Up

Movie will be moved inside to the Solarium in the event of inclement weather.

Checking in! I havent been on in forever. I got offered a promotion at work which has given me far less time to say we shall do "personal activities" at work.

How is everyone? What have I missed?

The fiance and I are likely going to Paris Disney this year in addition tot he trip to WDW!!!

Got some good news and some bad news for you.

The good news: I added you to the Be Our Guest list

The bad news: I don't have the March info yet. I am hoping someone will be able to get me an activities schedule for March soon. The movie listing should be out in a day or so.

Teena's daughter will be getting married next summer aboard the Fantasy.

Marlton Mom is probably sleeping off her One More Disney Day and we are all waiting with baited breath for the photos.

I'll be packing up and moving the thread sometime this weekend, so stay tuned.

ETA: OH, YEAH!!! HOW COULD I FORGET- BEACH CLUB RESORT MERCHANDISE HAS ARRIVED!!!
