Safe travels and have a wonderful time. We'll be there Tuesday!

Everyone heading down to the BC have a wonderful time. :woohoo: We just got our documents in the mail today. :dance3: Doing the happy dance.

We just got our documents in the mail today. Doing the happy dance.

According to WDW Reservations, my docs were mailed 10/22 which means the USPS must be reviewing them for me. They will be mailing new docs n Monday so I won't be doing the happy dance until next weekend. Plenty of time, nothing to worry about.

Would someone mind helping me - just to make sure I have everything for my checklist? I'm making up our packing and park lists now, and I don't want to forget anything - especially since we have a lot of other thigns going on at home right now (EEK!!).

I have 3 reseversations.
11/27-28 1 room only on day of arrival for YC/CL w/one child's 9d Tix (I have a SN child that doesn't eat, so he's not on the package below. Disney put his park tix on the single night).
11/28-12/6 8 nights Package (tix & DxDDP + 1night MVMCP) for YC/CL
12/6-7 1 room only on day of departure for AKL

I've received:
Inbound & Outbound Magical Express Tags
One booklet of luggage tags & coupons for our MYW Package purchase

Also, the booklet of coupons included a PhotoPass ID, which recommended that we register that in advance for extra photo savings. I've already purchased the discounted PhotoPass CD. If I go online and pre-register the photopass card, is that going to mess up the Pre-purchased PhotoPass CD?

Thank you :)

I've seen some posts where ppl talk about making their final payments. I'm a bit concerned.... We are DVC members and are used to using points instead. However, for our trip that begins in 8 days, we are using the AP discount for 3 nights at YC. We paid our original deposit, but have not paid anything else. Were we supposed to pay for the rest prior to arrival?

Thanks for any help!

Eek! It's a good thing you caught it though, with Thanksgiving coming up. But it looks like you're arriving the day after us - maybe we will cross paths :santa:

Hi amyngary!

Over the years, we have booked both packages and room-only reservations, and the rules are different for each. For a room-only reservation, guests pay a deposit when they book and the balance at the resort. When guests book a package, they pay a $200 deposit and the final payment is due no later than 45 days before arrival. (If you book within 46 days of arrival, the total amount is due upon booking.) So when posters refer to a "final payment," they may have booked a package.

Either way, each guest's reservation confirmation lists all the relevant terms and conditions. You can always check the fine print on your confirmation to confirm the terms and conditions that apply to your reservation.

Hope that helps! :wizard:

If I have a "Deluxe Room - Pool or Water View" reservation, do I need to request a full balcony? I have been tryng to read all the information I can on the resort and love  all of the great information I get on the DIS.

Our first stay at Beach Club is only 13 days away!!! :cool1:

I'm too excited to sleep! :yay:

Perfect - I feel better now. We booked room only, so that explains it. Thanks so much - I was a bit worried that we missed a deadline somehow!

Would love to know the answer to this as well.
Thanks!

Not sure if it was in this thread or some other place but, I read that about half of each catagory have balconies at Beach Club some full some standing, so I would say yes request a full balcony if that is what you want

Hey ya'll!!! I am officially booked at the Beach Club for May and I am ridiculously excited! I need a little bit of help though. Can someone help me find a room number to request? We are going standard view, club level, but rather than look at the parking lot or a rooftop I was hoping to face the woods on the side closest to Epcot. Can anyone help me out with a suggestion?

Thanks so much!

Starting 1/1/11, there are three categories of regular rooms at the BC and the YC (not suites or club level) instead of two (like present).

First is standard view. This will be a view of a parking lot, roof, anything "yucky".
Second is garden view. This will be a view of a garden or courtyard.
Third is water view. This is a view of a pool or the lake.

At present, we only have two views: standard/garden (you could get a yucky view like a parking lot or roof or a decent view like a courtyard or garden - luck of the draw basically) and water view (lake or pool). We are all very happy there is going to be three categories starting 1/1/11 !!!!!!!!!

The difference in price per night between the standard and garden view rooms will be minimal (around $10).

This is from a few posts back. I will try to formalize something and put it on the front page when I have the time.

Teena- will a woods view be considered "garden" since you are seeing something green with foliage? If so, I would think you could book "garden view with a request of EPCOT side or EPCOT view"

One thing to add from a glass half full type of gal. Sometimes there are hidden surprises where you don't expect them! I had booked a standard room with full balcony as my request. I was thrilled to get the balcony. The view from the room was not spectacular- I saw rooftoops and I would have had a view of the parking lot expect a HUGE tree blocked the view from the center of the balcony. BUT, at night, I could look to the right and see some of the Illuminations fireworks. AND looking off towards the left, we had a spectacular view of the MK Nighttastic show.

Can I ask -- what docs?? I'm headed to the BC in less than three weeks and other than my ME stuff - I haven't received any docs? I did book online - does that make a difference? I just want to make sure I'm not missing something!

Thanks!!

I'M FINALLY BOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beach club here I come, well on the 7th to the 22nd September! It will be for our wedding and then our honeymoon from the 12th September!

You know, I think I might just downgrade and get a water view room and have garden grocer deliver the beer and wine too us at the hotel. Really, that is the reason I book club level, LOL. I might as well take that extra $180, get brewskis delivered, and stay in a room with a better view. :thumbsup2
