My question if anyone might know is this: Does anyone have any idea WHICH pillow they use at the BC? I tried checking the tags last time because I love, love, love the pillows but they didn't specify which one it was. I'm not sure if it's the Ultra-rest or Magic Gel.... or could it possibly even be the $$$Luxury one???

The pillow was the only thing I didn't like about the bedding at the BC. Maybe it's just the way I sleep but they are too thick for me. The beds are oh so comfortable though!

I didn't notice their was a new and fab. Thread started so I spent yesterday and part of today catching up love all the friendly advice. Teena I can't wait to meet you I know I stayed at the YC a few years ago and enjoyed Woody so much. It seems you really enjoy your job so wonderful. We will be staying BCCL 12/7-12/13 my first time club level so excited with dh,dd,dd,dm,ds,dbl,and my ds three kids yay

Wow it took me several days but I read the whole thread. We have a Dec 20-29 trip planned at the BC and just hope everything falls in place so that we are able to come. We are true Disneynuts, I'm working on our past trip list. We are coming home to BC our favorite. Stayed there 2 years ago for Christmas, have been back to the world since but did CR, POLY, and were off sight for Spring Break. We were blessed to meet Teena on that trip, I don't know if you remember, but we talked for a really long time about your daughter, I had asked about the wedding (at that time), DIS, and even the beliefs of different faiths. It was such an honor to meet you. Even though off sight we just could not stay away from our home, we had to come visit. Teena you encouraged us to come home soon. Well hoping to see you again at Christmas. Thanks for this thread and I love the beach club!!!

Can't remember what you look like but I definitely remember the conversation we had. I'm so glad you are coming back and will be spending the holidays with us!!! I love the holidays at the BC and WDW!

Thanks to everyone for their replies concerning DME. I called again today. Once again I was told that everything is in their system and there is no need to worry. So... I am no longer worrying. They sent another batch of luggage tags which arrived today. These do have tags for our older DD with her arrival date correctly displayed. I have to assume that this is an indication that all is right with the reservations. I hope!

OK to all the experts.....I KNOW I have seen photos of products in the stores as fas as drinks/food etc...but I am normally not a Gatorade drinker but I will be for the 1/2 WIne&DIne RuN..do they carry Gatorade?
Or can I expect some in CL?!

I think I can help! No Gatorade, but Powerade is available at most (if not all) resort gift shops/food courts and many stands/restaurants throughout the parks. Not in the Concierge lounges, though.

We are thinking about booking two nights at the Beach Club for a short trip in November (Hubby wants to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.)
We might book a standard room or a standard club level room.
I do have some questions ...
Is staying club level really worth it?
(We just stayed club level for gen con in indy and it was really, really not worth it.)
Can you request a certain area and are some areas better than others?

Two days, specific purpose for trip, IMHO no, the CL would not be worth the extra money being spent. As far as requesting a certain area/view, yes you can request it but remember it is only a request, no guarantess as I'm sure you already know. However, how much time do you plan on spending in the room? Would you rather be close to elevator, lobby, exit to IG, ground floor, there are lots of options here. I would recommend going back around twenty pages on this thread and working your way forward and you'll get a really great idea of what other's think. Have fun planning.

I can totally relate. We are arriving next Saturday and I am forcing myself not to pack yet. Suitcases are out and non-essentials are all packed but waiting on the clothes so my hubby and kids don't get mad at me for packing up all the clothes they own.

I have a question that has probably been answered, but don't recall seeing it here or in the last thread. Is there a reason the BCV are decorated differently than BC rooms? Were the rooms redone and the villas were not? I don't think DH will know the difference, but just in case he surprises me I wanted to have an answer for him.

i know its not "posh" to request a room, and usually you cant go wrong with whichever room you are placed in, however, I'd be remiss if I didn't ask for opinions on which room(s) were seen as "the best". I hear different rooms offer different advantages, ie bigger balconies, better views, etc.....so I'm just throwing the question out there for my trip there in January 2011....

I just remembered that another thing we have done is purchase the Gatorade powder in tubes and add that to a bottle or mug of water. My DS got very dehydrated a couple of years ago and like the PP said, the Gatorade was great for that, so we have taken it on subsequent trips.
