I'm trying to check WDW rates for Feb. 2010. Neither the Disney site or other travel sites have any rates. The Disney site specifically stated it was not accepting reservations beyond 12/31/2009. WHAT is going on?!:headache:
Thank,
Gayle

Disney stated it was not accepting reservations beyond dec 31 09...... Kinda sums it up no?

I would expect Disney would release 2010 rates in aug when the raise the price of the tickets.

The 2010 rates should be published mid-August. The last three years have been around the 15th. You can call and make a room only reservation about 400 days in advance.

I booked a room only reservation by phone yesterday for August, 2010. The CM said the rates would be out in August for next year.

I can't even get room only rates online. I am planning a dream trip for a friend, and the inability to get a cost estimate is making alternate destinations much easier to plan... I'd also like to check rates for myself. It's weird that none of this information is available through the Disney website, you'd think they'd want us planning trips and making deposits :-)

You can use this year's rates and dates as a good guideline. I usually try to add about 2 to 5 percent increase.

Disney doesn't have the information yet, so they can't tell you what they are.

They should allow you to book a room-only or a basic package at this year's rates and they will modify the rates when they come out. If you book room-only, you can call to have them modify the ressie to a package (usually involves canceling your room-only, refunding your deposit and rebooking it as a package with a new deposit, $200.)

You can get an idea of the room prices on the www.allearsnet.com website. Go to accommodations. On the left side of the next page you'll see a list of all Disney resorts. Click on the fact sheet for the resort you are interested in. Scroll down on the fact sheet and you'll see the 2009 rates. Our 10 day vacation at the moderates resorts seem to go up about $300.00 each year.

I asked a CM the other day about this exact thing, They said the rates would be out mid-august and that they know the resort prices will go up, but not sure about the ticket prices, and not sure what the percentage increase will be.
