2010 Use of points...

I was told by MS that I have 200 pts for my 2010 (DEC UY). I forgot to ask officially when I can start using those points for stays. Can someone enlighten me on this? Just getting a hang of this point system.

Dec 2010 for BCV? those points are good for stays from dec 1, 2010 to nov 30, 2011.

in that case you can call today and book as far as 11 months ahead at BCV for jun 2010, if you are willing to borrow those points into your 2009 UY. if you borrow points into 2009, you could book a stay right now for as soon as dec 1, 2009 (if there is availability).

(be aware that when you bank or borrow points into a different UY, that choice is final and cannot be undone - those points will then expire at the end of that UY.)
