Hi Tracy,
We are also doing the Space Coast 1/2 marathon. We will be staying at the Best Western. I also registered John and I for the the dinner at Kennedy the night before.

I am thinking about doing the full - but I have to wait till I get my school schedule to see if I have any exams the week after (my brain doesn't seem to work after a full ), and then I have to see if I can afford it . But, I really want to do it this year

I am doing the half. Very excited about this one! The breakfast after sounds yummy. I am always starving after a race!

I would like to do a November half this year but will probably have to stick closer to home. 3 trips in 4 months to FL is pushing it.

One year I will be doing this run (or the Holiday Halfathon) so I can get over to Disney when it is decorated for Christmas. That is the one thing that is bad about the January event, Christmas is over and even if they kept the decorations up it just wouldn't be the same.

bumping... and for those doing the pasta dinner, they are busing people from the expo area to the Saturn V building starting at 6pm.
Also remember that the expo is only on Saturday.

Hi Tracy

Kathy is going to check today about adding Fri. night to our hotel reservations. We are looking forward to the pasta dinner and the breakfast after the 1/2.

We will be going out at 5:00AM this Sunday to walk a 1/2M. I'll be going out a few hours earlier to walk a 1/2M by myself. Should be a good workout for both of us.

Only 4 1/2 weeks to go

I would LOVE to do this race, but it does not fit in my work schedule this year. I'm actually missing TWO races that weekend.

This IS definitely on my "must do" list. I grew up in that area and it will give me a good excuse to go visit the old homeland.

I'd like to do the pasta dinner but it's so darn expensive. Has anyone done it before? Is it worth $50? Do you get to tour the space center?

Steve & I are looking forward to this race. It will definitely be a good way to work off TG dinner.

This is the first time they are doing the pasta dinner on the KSC property. Not sure if it is "worth it", but is cool as the participants will have the entire Saturn V rocket building all to themselves. Not a place you can just drive to and you have to get bused to get there. Yes, I read that most of the exhibits and things in that building will be open for the dinner guests to experience.

Will let you know how it goes.
