2010 Podcast Cruise - Help us decide

Well, pulling our children out of school is just not something we do, but we are obviously in the minority.

Guess we will just have to wait for the 2011 West Coast PodCast Cruise

I think we teachers are out numbered. Sigh... We would be there but... 37 school days untill summer vacation!!!

My Family would like to go, and since my wifes a teacher I would pick the summer for more money.

I would pick price. I was just trying to convince my DH that we should go on the next podcruise and price would be the deciding factor.

I voted for price, mostly because it's more than likely I'd be travelling solo, and the single supplement....I'd have to bite the bullet. I don't know who'd share the double occupancy rate with me.

We have taken our kids out of school for trips and they told us that it was
one of their best memories. They were excellent students and it made no difference to their schoolwork. Each person should look at their own childrens capabilities and see how their teachers react to being gone. Many teachers are willing to work with you. Anne is an elementary teacher and we feel that May is a month where if a student misses a week, very little learning is lost.
