2010 Mom's Panel Results along with lists of Round 2 & 3 Participants

Ok, I know I am worrying over spilled milk and nothing I can do about it now, but did the application for round two say specifically to submit a "head shot" or picture? I know I was crazy...but just wondering....and of course worrying....lol

Congratulations, Denise! So where is Hockeytown? Trying to figure out your location based on your clue: North of Disney, South of Hockeytown.

LOL! That is a fun reference to one of my "sorority sisters' (#1hockeymom) who lives in Michigan. She lists her location on the DIS as "Hockeytown". We are in North Florida.

Ahhhh Marshay! I tried! Guess you ain't that person who wrote it was just as well she didn't move on cause it will give her another year to lose 5 or 10 pounds for the picture? Hehehehee... women...

Nope, that wasn't me. I'm one of the few women that actually gets to eat 500 calories MORE per day ... gotta keep my 7month well-fed!! Of course the docs want me to eat healthy for those extra calories...but that's not as much fun!!

If it's the one I'm thinking of (put all ingredients in a measuring cup and put in the microwave), then Yep, I have. It's nice for a quick cake.

Ok, back to making my DD4's autograph book -- trip is less than 1 month

Really??? I was there today and just stood staring at it for like 5 whole min. but I resisted because I have to make my dh a birthday cake--his choice, and I have my 20yr hs reunion coming up, so I'm trying to be "good". Anyway, how was it????? (l do love cake).

Have you had their Ultimate Chocolate Cake? It is to give up a Round 2 entry for!! (Just kidding, trying to stay on-topic!!)

I thought their chocolate cake really did live up to the hype they made about it. And at $14 for the cake, it was expensive ... however it was so deliciously rich and moist and the icing, as we've discussed before, was truly the best part -- like falling into a warm pile of pillows! YUMMY (not the pillows, the icing!)

Anyway, with all that said , the white cake has failed. Save your money. I did enjoy it, and it's not going to waste; but I can make a better box mix cake with pudding. The icing was plain for me. I did put strawberries on it and like I said, I did enjoy it ... just won't get it again at that price.

I feel the same way about the white cake. It is FAR too sickly sweet for me (and I LOVE sweets). It would make a nice wedding cake with some filling but the icing is far too much for the little amount of cake.

I would do just about anything for the chocolate fudge icing on the chocolate cake! YUMMMMM. With a big glass of ice cold milk.

Okay. Where are the car keys? I feel a run to Weg's coming on.

Hello, everyone! I know I'm a little late to the party.... but I just found my "CONGRATULATIONS...You're on to Round 2!" email in my inbox late last night! Holy Crow! It took a moment more to register that I had exactly 24 hours to submit my Part 2 answers!

By 2 AM this morning after hitting "SUBMIT", I am done and done! Looking forward to sharing this journey with all of you!

I had the same question. The congrats email said headshot but the website said photo of yourself. SO, I went with the headshot. As with most of you out there, there aren't a whole lot of those around my house since I normally have the camera!! I used a photo we had taken last year for our Christmas cards.
It still looks like me but with slightly shorter hair. (they didn't say recent)

In addition, you will need to submit a headshot photo of yourself in .jpeg format for potential use in Public Relations materials. Your answers and photo must be submitted by 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Daylight Time on October 16, 2009. If we receive your reply after 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Daylight Time, on October 16, 2009, it will not be accepted and no extensions will be offered.

And how are the rest of you Round 2ers doing?! If my calculations are correct, you have just under 4 hours to submit your responses/photo. My feeling is you all have crossed that off your list though!

Just a general statement...I've been thinking about my fellow rejects (and they know who they are!) I've only heard from one so far but wanted to let the rest know I'm thinking of them in case they are following along.

Wishing you all a great weekend and loads of pixie dust. Not sure about all of you but I wish I could peek to the last chapter to see how this is all going to end!

I have to say ... the past few days have been incredible. WOW is the one word I repeat over and over and over. I keep thinking that maybe I imagined the email on Tuesday, but then I check and it's still there in my "Disney" folder where I keep all important Disney-related emails.

It really DID happen. I really DID make it to the 2nd round. [Whatever you do, don't wake me up if this really IS a dream!].

So to all the 2nd rounders -- good luck, pixie dust and I see a lot of this in our future during the next 11 days or so.

I would try shutting down your system, open a new browser and try again. Maybe there are alot of others trying at the same time? Good Luck!

ccgirl - really so sorry you are having the problem. I hope rebooting helps! If not, you might try a different computer?

At the very least I would think you would want to submit your written answers, and then maybe send an email with your picture attached to the person who sent the mail.

Also, just a thought - can your shrink the size of your picture?
