Yikes. Anyone else have problems booking this deal on a standard room at WL? We're going 8/15 and would hate to have to change resorts or upgrade to stay.

For my dates (9/25-10/2) WL Courtyard View was not available - had to upgrade to Bunk Bed category.
Weird - because Courtyard View is already an upgrade from Standard.
I wonder if I call back and get a different CM, that Courtyard View would become available?

I have already have a reservation and paid my deposit but not with my Disney Visa. Will I have to pay another $200 and put it on the Disney VISA to get the fd?

I had a similar problem. When I booked my Discover had 5% cashback on travel so I booked on it. The only thing I had to do today was to apply a $200 deposit with my DVisa. No canceling, kept the same confirmation # everything.
No thats what happened with me.....I would assume it works for everybody but :confused3

As noted in teh FAQ at the head of this thread... certain room categories are going to be VERY limited.

WL is a resort that ALWAYS has limited F/D inventory. ALWAYS. That's not to say you can't get *something* at the WL.. but exact views or room types are always a toss up there.

I've been on the FREE DINING release here on the boards for ... umm.. I think this is the fourth one.. ? And WL is always the one that seems to have a lot of problems with the room 'types' ...

WL, Pop Century and CR are both usually is the first ones to report limited availability for select dates here on the boards but for WL, certain room types NEVER seem to have much available for F/D.

And one last thing to keep in mind.. Just because your room category wasn't available 9/15 to 9/23 doesn't mean it isn't available 9/14 to 9/22 or even 9/23 etc. The availability is NOT as straightforward as we all like to think in our head and sometimes adding or removing a day on either end of a date range DOES make a difference.

It makes no sense.. But that's how it works.

Many forums are now reporting that the GP is either Sunday or Monday.. can someone one the phone with a CM ask for sure? .

To all of you who are calling and speaking to the Disney CMs and booking your fd, maybe there is someone out there :confused3 who can get a CM to let it slip ;) as to when the gp offer will be issued; will it be Sunday or Monday? Please....for us poor people who are still waiting:surfweb: .....:sad2:....please???

They always use a 5-night stay in advertising as an example. That does not mean you HAVE to book a 5-night stay. The minimum stay is 3 nights and maximum 14 nights, and you must book at least a 2-day park ticket.

Whew!....just checked it out:thumbsup2. I am soooo relieved!:) I've booked some OT on Sunday at 8 a.m. (to help pay for my upcoming Disney vacation;)) and I didn't know how I was going to fit both working and phoning Disney:scared1: into my morning!

I was very surprised this morning I was one who was believing with all the other offers FD wouldnt exist this year!

Anyhow, I had already booked 2 preferred location rooms at CBR with the 30% off code so I called and switched it to FD and saved an additional $63.00. Not alot, but a deal anyhow!

Just booked the free dining, upgraded to the deluxe with the disney Visa. It will be released to public on May 3rd.... woman I spoke with said there was very limited rooms available at the value, but a fair amount at the moderate.

We booked October 2-7th at port orleans riverside.. never stayed there, hope it is what we expect!!!

Count down is on!!!!!!!!!

:cheer2:
