So in all my anal-ness, I called this morning and booked all my ADR's in anticipation of booking the actual trip itself on Monday when FD goes out to the GP. Will they be able to link up my ADRs to my ressie when I'm on the phone?

Also - I was able to get almost every single TS meal we wanted, the ONLY one that is pretty much booked up the entire time we're going is Ohana's! I was kind of shocked. So the CM suggested booking Sanaa as a backup - I've never eaten there before....is it good?

I'm sorry - tried to read through this whole thread, but I'm giving up! Is it definite that the All Star Music Suites are NOT being offered FD?? We currently have our vacation booked, but I'm looking at all possibilities (part of my Disney insanity!)

Your ADRs will not be affected when you make your ressie for your hotel. They are saved under either your telephone # or your address. You do not even need to tell them you have ADRs when you book your reservation. They are two completely seperate ressies.

It may be they are not offered at all or it may be they are not offered very often (in terms of the number of nights)

Call Disney and ask to be certain.

Forgive me if I am missing something, but I am wondering why FD is $13 more per person for the Villas as opposed to a deluxe resort?

For example, if staying at BC, you will pay $13 less per person, than if you stayed at BCV. Just wondering what the logic is?

Thanks a bunch! tink

I believe that's a function of the resort rates vs. Free Dining per se..

And I believe that the villas include a small kitchen in the studio for example where the true hotel side of things.. does not.

Home away from home vs. hotel.

Fairly common that certain room categories don't have availability on special offer and standard rooms at WL fall into that grouping.

You may have to upgrade or change resorts.

Remember.. if the standard rooms are well booked before the promo room inventory is allocated .. then ... none of those rooms will be given promo room inventory.

So, is there no point in me calling back in a couple days to try to get a standard room at WL with the free dining (we are currently booked with free dining in a woods view)? It would save me almost another $300 to get the standard room that we wanted. I didn't want to change resorts, since we've never stayed at WL.

Whooo Hoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:
Thanks to all here who have been SOOOO supportive and nice. I have enjoyed waiting with all of you! Love, hugs and kisses to all!!!

Celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For my dates (9/25-10/2) WL Courtyard View was not available - had to upgrade to Bunk Bed category.
Weird - because Courtyard View is already an upgrade from Standard.
I wonder if I call back and get a different CM, that Courtyard View would become available?

Those are the same dates we're going and staying at WL! :thumbsup2 Did you check on Woods view? I was able to book that this morning.

I am feeling left out........:sad1:

I may have missed this somewhere, but has anyone learned when it will be offered to the GP?

My friend and I are goin!!! :dance3: I had to wait until nearly noon (central) to call Disney. I got right in. The CM was so nice, and he helped me book our trip. 8 nights at ASMu, 9 day hopper tickets, MNSSHP tickets, flights! Our trip is ON!!!

Thanks everyone! I will miss you! Now, we need to all start a "Now that we have Free Dining, we are going to do _____ with our free time!" thread! :rotfl:

Thanks for the reply. I got the $13 difference from the Disney Visa site. Not sure if that was sample pricing or not.

I believe BC standard and BCV studio are the same rack rate per night with no promotions, so was just wondering why they charged more for FD in BCV as opposed to BC. Hehe, either way, that would be one way for someone like me, a non-DVC member, to decide between BC/YC or BCV with FD. :)

I would try, because last year, I wanted POP and it was sold out for FD (I called a month after it was offered). I called back to make a change to my reservation, and when I called back, POP was available. I'm sure it was a fluke, but hey....it's worth a try. Nothing wrong with calling!

I agree..anything is worth a try. I needed a dining reservation last year and was told Good luck..lol..I called every day for 2 weeks and finally got it..so it never hurts to try.
