2010 Fall Dining for DVISA Is Out (See FIRST page)'

We stayed at Sports a couple of times. Even went from Contemporary one trip to Sports the next and it did not bother us at all. I think they are all nice resorts. But I can't help with which value to pick, because we always did Sports.

Can someone give me advice on the Value Resorts? Tripadvisor reviews are not that great. Since I am downgrading to a Value (saving a few bucks), I'd like to know which one I should stay at.

I've stayed at All Star Movies and Pop Century. We definitely prefer Pop over the other values (we just like the theming better) and have had very good experiences there.

We have stayed at All Star Movies twice and Pop Century a half a dozen times. We have also stayed at Grand Floridian Royal Palm Club (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!). But...We love Pop...the theming is great as is the food court. Have no worries. All these resorts are Disney and you can't go wrong with any of them. It just depends on what amenities you want and are willing to pay for.

Did you know you can call the restaurant directly and book it? They only release a small amount of their tables to Disney at a time. I had no trouble getting my ADR, but I made them all at 180 days out.

You can also walk up. Go during off peak time. We will go at 11am right when it opens for lunch or around 445-5pm for dinner. We did this back in March for Rainforest Cafe also.

Thanks everyone... POP is my first choice, but I know how fast that resort goes so I was looking at my back up. All Star Sports doesn't appeal to me, so it will be between Movies and Music. Thanks.

I would think that the opposite would be true at TRex since it is not part of the DP. We have walked up during FD and non-FD.

(NOTE: I always suggest ADRs!)

We've stayed at All Star Movies, Pop Century and All Star Music. They are all essentially the same.... basic room but lovely! A clean place to sleep. Great food courts but cafeteria style. Not disappointing! Super pools!! Awesome resort decor! Lots of buses and parking.

So our choice is Music - they have incredible pool side activities - dancing, water balloon toss, an 8ft beach ball that comes out inthe afternoon, music and movies! And we're going back this August! Good luck!

We stayed at AS Music in January 09 and loved it. It was recently refurbed I think so the rooms felt fresh. Our favorite were the pool side movies at night, it was cool to watch Finding Nemo on the big screen.

We had some ADR's that were closer to 6 and when we got there early you could see the CM's were happy about getting us in (and out of the way) early. It really depends on which restaurant you're heading towards. More popular places, even during off peak eating times, typically turn down walk ups. I've seen this happen countless times at Le Cellier, for example (and many reports of it too). If you have an ADR that you're arriving early for, it's not considered the same as a walk up with no ADR. Basically, if you want to eat somewhere, plan ahead and make the ADR. Don't wing it, especially during a time the restaurants tend to be more full. If you don't mind possibly being turned down...then definitely try the walk up plan.

OOH, I didn't realize Kelsey Grammer was in La Cage! I'm wanting to get downt here for Promises, Promises too. In the last couple of weeks I've seen Race and the The Addams Family. TAF was hilarious but the plot itself wasn't very good, if that makes sense. Nathan Lane could make the phone book funny, though, and Bebe Neuwirth was awesome, as was the girl who played Wednesday. Race was amazing, take-your-breath-away theater but very intense and definitely not family friendly!

Robin Williams part but is switching to the Nathan Lane part in 6 months. I dunno how he could follow the actor playing the part now, Donald Hodges, who originated the role in London. He is just unbelievable. If you're going to go, try to do so before he leaves. TAF, Race, Lend Me a Tenor all on our to-do list. DD had a degree in Musical Theater so we go into the city frequently.

9/28: Breakfast and Playhouse Disney (don't know what to do for dinner)
9/29: Yak & Yeti for lunch
9/30: CRT for Dinner and hopefully MNSSHP for our final night.
