Ooo..restaurant day!!! Here's our ADR's:

9/23-Chef Mickey's 10:30am
9/24-Cape May Cafe 10:45am (new)
9/25-Garden Grill 4:30pm (new)
9/26-Crystal Palace 8:15am
9/27-50's PTC (new for DH and DD)
9/28-CRT at 4:25pm before MNSSHP(new)
9/29-'Ohana 9am (new)

Yeah, let's talk about the free food.

We have Sept 23- Coral Reef (although I may switch to Tutto's)
Sept 24- Sci fi
Sept 25- Princess Breakfast in Norway and Le Cellier for supper
Sept 27- Donald's Safari Breakfast.

The two breakfast are repeats. Now Disney just has to tell us the food in free.

So what's the topic of the day tomorrow?

Have you eaten at TRex? I chose that restaurant for my nephew. He loves dinosaurs....I am curious about the food. The hardest ressie for me was Le Cellier.

I ate there last June. Definitely good food, but $$$. And actually I didn't even get an entree. I just got an appetizer as my meal. The Footprints Flatbread is YUMMY!!!

ETA: I just realized something...HELLO! FD! I guess it doesn't matter if it's expensive or not! My hardest was Le Cellier as well.

For our girls only trip, we have the following ADRs:
LeCellier
Chefs de France
Teppan Edo
Sci-Fi Dinner Theatre
O'Hanna's Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch!

We still have a few credits lefts, but my friend and I haven't had time to sit down and decide where to go. I gave her a folder of menus and ideas, but she hasn't gotten back to me. . .do you think I'm a little obsessive about my planning?

sorry I missed yesterday's hurricane story day. DD and I went to NYC for the day - saw Sean Hayes (Will & Grace) and Kristen Chenoweth in Promises, Promises - good and Kelsey Grammer in La Cage au Folle - OMG - amazing, hysterical, a don't miss if you can get there!!

OOH, I didn't realize Kelsey Grammer was in La Cage! I'm wanting to get downt here for Promises, Promises too. In the last couple of weeks I've seen Race and the The Addams Family. TAF was hilarious but the plot itself wasn't very good, if that makes sense. Nathan Lane could make the phone book funny, though, and Bebe Neuwirth was awesome, as was the girl who played Wednesday. Race was amazing, take-your-breath-away theater but very intense and definitely not family friendly!

I just saw a rumor on another website that free dining will be released on the 29th for Visa holders. They also said 2 sources said it would be different this year aka QS dining. I hope not, it's not that great of a savings for us, since we will upgrade to reg. dining.

So I decided to call again to see if any pins were attached to my name and the only ones were the two my DH received for the QSFD through 8/14. Which doesn't help since we are going 10/2. I spoke to a really nice CM. He said, "Well, just because its only good through 8/14 doesn't mean they won't extend it." I said, "I know, that's what I am hoping for!"

He then said, "Just make sure to keep checking the Disney website and even sites like Mousesavers, they seem to have the info before we do!" I said, "I check everyday, all day, lol" He said a new one might come out by the end of the month...hmmm. I said, well I heard rumors of it being May 3rd? He said he had heard that date also but they can't really release that info. He said sometimes they don't know until right before its released.

I then asked if it makes a difference if you already HAVE a ressie or if its a NEW ressie whether you get the discount. He said they only have so many rooms per resort for the codes and regardless of if you have a ressie or not, its basically first come first serve. So he said to keep an eye on the boards and as soon as I see a discount out there to call. If its available in the resort I am staying in, they just apply it to my ressie. If not, then I can switch resorts if I want.

I have to say T-Rex was my hardest ressie to get!

Did you know you can call the restaurant directly and book it? They only release a small amount of their tables to Disney at a time. I had no trouble getting my ADR, but I made them all at 180 days out.

No, I didn't know that. I got the day I wanted, just not the best time. It will work ok for us, so I will keep it. Thank you for the info! I also called at the 180 mark, but decide later to do T-Rex. All my other ressies I got the exact time and dates I wanted!!!

Can someone give me advice on the Value Resorts? Tripadvisor reviews are not that great. Since I am downgrading to a Value (saving a few bucks), I'd like to know which one I should stay at.

We've stayed at All Star Movies, Pop Century and All Star Music. They are all essentially the same.... basic room but lovely! A clean place to sleep. Great food courts but cafeteria style. Not disappointing! Super pools!! Awesome resort decor! Lots of buses and parking.

So our choice is Music - they have incredible pool side activities - dancing, water balloon toss, an 8ft beach ball that comes out inthe afternoon, music and movies! And we're going back this August! Good luck!
