**2010** Epcot Food & Wine Festival ENDED 11/14. 2011 FESTIVAL 9/30-11/13

So, am I correct in assuming that the events can not be booked online this year like they could in the past? Can't find the option to book online anywhere. I need to check the passholder site to see if I can. That would have prevented long phone lines early in the AM especially for those of us in earlier time zones:(

These events have never been able to be booked online.

Last year the demos (the cheap ones) were able to be booked - those open on August 26th.

The special events have never been available for online booking. We've always had to call. Last year was the first year the seminars could be booked in advance (first year they weren't free too) and those were booked online. The same is true this year but not until late August.

OK, I do recall that now. Thanks to you and Dis Yoda! I hope they have more operators working tomorrow than usual!

Last year, I ended up just booking the seminars when I arrived at Epcot with no problem. But, I'm more interested in some of the special ones that I have not done before. Glad I did Party for the Senses several years ago when it was less expensive!!

Got my festival book in the mail today! Better design!

I just wanted to wish everyone good luck today :goodvibes We're only booking PFTS, so it should be pretty easy for me.

Good luck to you too! I'm planning an in/out one event call too. Beauty sleep beckons, yo.:faint:

Ditto... on hold now. Estimated less than 5 minute wait...

Done! Oct 23 PFTS with wine view room.

My estimated wait time was given as 3 minutes. I think they're underestimating a bit.

I thought I got through fairly fast, but my estimated wait time is over 30 minutes!

I'm on hold also!! Was told 6 minutes...I'm stressing because I really hope to get the Wine School with Andrea Robinson! Every second that passes makes me afraid I won't get it! F&W Pairing at Tutto is our back up but I'm afraid we'll miss that too!

I called the moment they opened and actually got a person right away! I was shocked. On the phone now:

What I have:
October 2nd
Taste, Shake, and Indulge like the French
Party of the Senses w/ Wine View Room

Oct 8th
French Regional Lunch
3D Dessert Discovery

I will be Tasting, Shaking, and Indulging like the French.:cool1: I got right through, no hold at all once I got past the automated parts. Good luck to everyone else.

Whoa. I got through right at 4am! (Er, I mean 7am for you lucky so-and-so's on the East Coast...)

Dialed the F&W number on one phone and regular Disney Dining number on the other. The F&W number dispenses with all the "when was your last visit" and gets you right to an agent. She said they have 140 agents answering phones this morning.

I called right on the money at 7:00 am which is 6:00 am here in Texas and got a 30 minute wait right off. Well I am prepared that is why I am sitting here on the Disney Boards for a little while....:rotfl2:

I also go in right away. I'm so excited. We got Taste, Shake and Indulge Like the French on Oct. 23. See you there. Sue

I called right at 7 and I have a wait time of less than 25 min. I only want to book the 3D Dessert Discovery on November 5th:yay: I hope I get this!

Good Luck Everyone

I was able to get through at exactly 7:00 a.m. Less than a 10-minute wait. Booked Party for the Senses on October 2, French Regional Lunch Bourdeaux on October 3 and Signature Dining at Paradiso 37 on October 5!!:cool1:
