2010 Disney World Moms Panel Announced

Hey everyone. I noticed that Disney announced the 2010 Disney World Moms Panel today. They added 21 panelists this year and brought back 22 panelists from 2008 and 2009.

I'm a bit surprised and a whole lot disappointed that Disney's still sticking with the discriminatory name for the panel... clearly there are quite a few people on the list with some rather un-mom parts.

yes, i think that's a mistake that they don't have a panelist from the UK.

I would love to know how this is chosen. I've tried three years in a row and never even made it to the second round I'm happy for those on the Dis who have made it, but I guess I keep throwing a pity party for myself that I didn't make it. Wonder how they choose the team

yes, i think that's a mistake that they don't have a panelist from the UK.

Actually there was a finalist from the UK in 2009 (for 2010) - Suey12 - She made it to the finals in 2008 (for 2009) also but was not selected. While she made the finals she had to drop out due to family obligations. I have a very strong feeling she would have been chosen as in the end no one was cut. You can see posts from her in the thread a previous poster noted.

Disney might have their own reasons for doing so and may have a different perspective on the whole thing as Dad's can be Mom's too.
