While checking the 2010 snack credit list I noticed that ASMO's list is very different than ASMU & ASSports. Trying to plan for a Nov. trip and am disappointed with the selections at ASMO. Anyone with an info to share, please do. thanks

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last week and had breakfast several times at Roaring Forks and each time DS had the cereal/milk. This counts as 2 snack credits or 1 counter service. With CS, you can get another 2 beverages. Definitely not 1 snack credit.

A CS credit for cereal and milk? I take it that is because your DS is a child? It would make sense if a child got cereal, milk and 2 beverages for a kids CS credit, but I would certainly not use an adult CS credit for a mini cereal box with some milk.

Definitely used an adult CS credit for cereal and milk for my teenage son. We had extra CS so it was not a big deal but it did seem a bit "unfair" considering you could get the bountiful breakfast platter - enough food for 3 people for the same CS - scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes and biscuit. One morning, I got a croissant, cereal, and milk and was charged 3 snack credits which is not what I wanted so the manager had to void the transaction and she charged me 1 CS and 1 snack credit so this is definitely the case at Roaring Forks.
There have always been differences between the value resorts and the "higher end" resorts for qualifying items for both snacks and CS meals, as well as substitutions. For some reason it is widely reported that the value food courts are generally far more lenient or willing to be flexible. It is just the way it is, but it does help to be informed if you like to plan. As a PP said, not a big deal if you have credits to spare, but for anyone trying to stretch them it can be a nasty surprise.
I just read too that the same type of stand in Epcot's World Showcase that sells the funnel cakes like the ones at Oasis, charges 6$ so if you want to get the most for your snack credit option buy it at HS and not Epcot
