2010/2011 Armed Forces Salute Tickets

We have planned to visit WDW with the in laws Oct '12. FIL is an airforce retiree. I wonder if we shuold move our date up to take adventage of this. Does anyone know if they end the program Sept 30, does it mean the days on the tickets have to finish on September 30, or if you activite them on Sept 30, can yo still use them until all the days are used/ or 14 days after??

You have to use them, or upgrade them, by the end of the offer (in this case, 30 Sep).

At least now I know I can get some cheaper season pass upgrades. :)

Yay, we can finely use the tickets!! We always "just miss" it (like last mid-October during F & W). This year we are going to have our first trip to see the Christmas decorations the second week in December. Can't wait!

Hope to hear prices soon, I am trying to decide what ticket option will be most cost effective for our Dec trip.

Suzanne

Disney Military Sales informed me that the prices will be the same as the current offer.

Kudos to Disney

I had thought about ugrading to an annual pass last trip, but the tickets only get credit for the actual price paid, not the gate price. Also, I had added the water parks, so I would have had to buy a premium annual pass. I decided not to do it.

I'm calling today...I'm sure my dates will be blacked out (23-30 Dec 2011) for the room discount but it won't hurt to ask! :worship:

This makes me so happy!!!!!

Just to clarify: The tickets expire at the end of the promotion NOT 14 days after use. Correct?? :confused3

We would like to visit a park on Oct. 12.

We would like to use our remaining three days on Oct 20 - 22. We can do this?

TIA!

Kristen

Yes, this is correct!

So I can get tickets whenever and they'll still be good for March 2012?

This is a great question for Cheshire... But I don't think so. You'd want to buy the tickets for the 2011/2012 promotion, NOT the ones for the current 2010/2011 promotion. I don't have my tickets in front of me, but I want to say they say the expire on Sept. 30th, 2011. :confused3

Right. I knew they expired but I know they extended the promotion. So I can just re-up after the current ones expire? I don't know.

I so wish this promotion included service connected disabled Vets. We didn't get an option to serve our time. :guilty:

Oh, then yes, you should be able to buy the 2011/2012 promotion tickets starting Oct. or when they become available!

I'm so excited to hear about this extension!

Does anyone know what deluxe resorts will be included?

If you book using the discount on rooms, you can get dining, correct? Are the tickets only for 4 day tickets, or do they have longer tickets? We were planning on 9 or 10 days. :D

There is nothing official yet about it, but someone has reported that it is the same deal at the current promotion. 4 day PH or WPM or 4 day PH and WPM.

True. I don't even know what I was talking about when I wrote it. : )

I would definitely reschedule to a month or so earlier, to take advantage of the essentially half off park tickets, as well as the 30-40% off Disney Resorts.

Disney Military Sales has not yet announced the end date in Sept, but I would imagine that it would be the end of the month. Give it a week or so and all the specifics should be out.

At this time there is no official detailed information available. As soon as detailed information is available to those of us who sell tickets at WDW, I will both update the Everything About WDW Tickets locked sticky, as well as start a new public thread in this forum with actual details. I have also (on 4/26) checked on Disneyland and there is nothing posted internally their either.
