We're all still planning on MNSSHP that night right? I ask because Shirley is slightly miffed that I'm not joining her and Gwen that night at Narcoossees (it's their last evening) LOL! Priorities, ya' know. I gotta see how Mac manages to end up with sooo much chocolate

I can't speak for anyone else but the list helps me. I can see who else's fun I can horn in on

Company for the Flying Fish would be fabulous! I can't believe I haven't eaten there since around 2000. Recent DIS review have got me very excited to check it out again

What if we did Jelly Rolls after the Flying Fish. All the parks will be closed by then (except for MK - it's a MNSSHP night). And, we'll already be right there...

Just a thought.

Thursday, 10/1
Backstage Magic Tour (Mac, are we still on for this?)
Dinner at Jiko (Mac, is this one of the Signature Dining places you wanted to try? It’s amazing. I have an ADR for 3)

you bet your butt i will do the backstage magic tour!!
after i can lock in my adr's i am booking that tour.

Friday, 10/2 – DtD / Epcot
Second day spent with Shirley
Lunch at Coral Reef – Dinner at Artist Point


Saturday, 10/3 – DHS / Epcot
“TSM Challenge” (Mac, I’m right there with you for RopeDrop. How many times are we gonna ride?)
Lunch at Chefs de France (ressie for 3 in case any of the PFTSers want to join me)
PFTS!!!


i will repeat the TOT and TSM as long as i have breath..........


i have never done the Chefs before.
I might be in for that one.
i was planning to eat at epcot for saturday afternoon.




Sunday, 10/4 – MK / AK / Epcot
Lunch at CRT (I’m hoping someone will join me for this one. Not sure it would be much fun alone. But, it’s part of my quest to eat at all the Signature Restaurants in a single trip – so, it’s gotta be done)
AK in the afternoon for the parade - F&W all evening


i will be hunting for iguanas and dinos that morning.
there are some of us that will be eating at Flame Tree for lunch.

I've done CRT twice before.
it's not a place i will repeat.
first time didn't wow me
the food i had was so so for me.

prime rib was what i had the second time but it was a tad extra fatty.
other than that, the p.r. was fine.




Monday, 10/5 – AK / Epcot
Lunch at Sanaa (are you an adventurous eater? I have an ADR for 2)
Last dinner with Shirley at Yachtsman Steakhouse

Monday is Wine and Drunkfest day at Epcot.
you do need to join us for F & W.

Tuesday, 10/6 – FW / DtD / MK
Fort Wilderness Segway Tour
Shopping at DtD
Tea at the Garden View Lounge (anyone else interested – no ADR yet)

Wednesday, 10/7 – MK or DHS / Epcot
Dinner at the Rose & Crown (this will be a first for me! - does anyone know if Pam Brody is usually there on Wednesdays?)

not sure on Pam Brody, with the budget cuts the motherland has done, not sure what days she will be there.
i have done the Rose and Crown about 6 times.
some of the items are yummy.



Thursday, 10/8 – AK / MK


I fly out early morning on Saturday, 10/10. What do ya' think?

i have car service picking me up on thursday 10/8 for going to the darkside.

i have been reading on one of the dis threads over the difficulty people are having in obtaining ADR's of their choice and times.

i am still working on my adr wish list.
i have three sets of them.
i have plan A, B, and C.

once i get mine lined up, i'll be able to say how my schedule will go.

i do hope all of us will be able to spend time together in the parks, on rides and for lunch/dinners.

I'm pretty flexible - the 2nd, 4th or 5th works too.

We should probably avoid the 6th (MNSSHP) or the 3rd (PFTS). I know PFTS is over at 9:00. But after eating and drinking for almost three hours straight, the last thing most of the ladies probably want to do is singing and MORE drinking. Me, I was good to go. As a matter of fact, I noshed at a few food booths that were still open when we left. I'm a bottomless pit - just ask Pat.

Trust me - there is no way I'm bringing Shirley along on our adventures...I like you guy to much to do that to you.
She's the one insisting on Park Faire. As long as they still have the Strawberry Soup, I'm good.

My Jiko ADR is for 7:20. I figured that the tour ends with the afternoon parade at the MK. By the time we get through the crowds and catch a bus to AKL, it will probably be almost 5:00. That leaves time to tour the resort and have a drink at Victoria Falls before dinner. Their filet and mac & cheese are legandary!

My ADR on Saturday at Chefs de France is for 12:30. After that, I'll probably head back to the resort to take a nap and clean up before PFTS. I ate there last year and it was yummy! Their lunch menu is fairly simple - light fare and delicious. Join me...it will be fun.

My ressie at Sanaa is early so I'll likely hook up with you guys right after lunch for the Drunkfest on Monday.

Mac, I used the online ADR system this morning. It let me book 10 ADRs at a time and I got every one that I wanted at the times I wanted. The whole process took less than an hour. BTW - when booking online, your window opens an hour earlier - 5:00 a.m. CST instead of 6:00 a.m CST.

Shirley had some trouble because she wanted Chef Mickeys and LeCellier at the beginning of the trip for her family. Problem is, for those staying on property, the window for those dates has technically been open for over a week and they are booked solid. I would say if you wanted either one of those,it might be a problem. Otherwise, as long as you're a bit flexible, you should be fine
