Waiting for 09 rates too. We will be going early June and follow it on with a Disney Cruise. This is what DS wants for high school graduation. We will probably drive down (2 days) and then stay 5 days at the parks and do a 4 day cruise (our first).

We just got back from a trip in December and have already gotten the bug to plan our next trip. I just talked DH into letting me plan a trip for sometime 2009. I am anxiously waiting to find out school schedules. I can't wait to get started!

We're planning to return in late August 2009 - also need to double check the school calendar before setting our exact dates! We were lucky enough to go 2x last year so we are counting the days (several hundreds) until we can get back there!!

When I called last week about a code for President's week I asked when could I book for Easter for 2009. The very nice CM said 499 days out - she looked it up and said I could book now! I am booked for April 5 -17, 2009 at Ft. Wilderness for a water/sewer/electric and cable site. They could not quote me the exact price at the rates are not out but I was quoted this year's rate. She told me to check back about Sept. for the AAA rates. Oh, there was a code to upgrade my base tickets to hopper & waterpark. It ends mid March - I guess it beats getting no discount at all!

Going late August 09. Just a girl's only trip this time. It will be a month before my daughter's 16th birthday. Patiently waiting - will be using Dreams again! - 4th trip booked through them!

Has anyone gone for part of Thanksgiving week? I'd like to arrive on Thanksgiving and stay through the following Saturday. I'm assuming I don't have a chance of getting a code for the Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving week. I'm pretty sure I can get a AAA discount for those nights - they are limited but not blacked out. So should I book room-only asap to make sure I can get a AAA discount? Has anyone actually gotten a code during T-week?

I'm going in Dec 2009...28th thru 1/4/10...does anyone think there will be any codes for holiday period? We are staying at WL, either in deluxe room or bunk bed room. We have budgeted $7500 (not including spending money for souvenirs, probably $500) for our stay, but would love to save some money. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the DIS! You will be, but it will be a while before they will have any impact on your vacation days. First the rates need to be released - usually around August.

Planning for our first family trip August 2009. Wanted to take ds there right before he starts kindergarten to celebrate the big occasion of starting school. Hoping for a package with free dining as my boys can EAT! I think the waiting is gonna kill me!
