2009 VB chair swap

We were supposed to go on a cruise but our friends can't go now so we are going to Vero for a few days....

Kritter, I am very sorry. I faxed the final list to the VB CM's back in Jan. I've had about 5-6 people ask me to add on. It would have been too impossible to continually add on people all year. The CM 's made it clear that they would not like that too, as it causes too much confusion for the staff. So I am very sorry to have to tell you that I do not have the ability to add anyone else on to the master list which was faxed to the resort.

Oh I totally understand I did the swap last year and this trip was very last minute... So I understand...

Can I ask you where you ordered the chairs from? I may order myself one and have it delivered to the resort and then just give it to a family before we leave... Thanks,,!!!!!

Hi Lorelai! Yes, we had a great time at Vero Beach! Some days, the water was quite rough. My DH was waist high in the water and was knocked over by waves that went over his head! But at other times, it was relatively calm, so you never know. Have fun in August!

Looking at the schedule, the poor lonely chairs and umbrellas are currently sitting in the VB Bell Services Storage room.

We arrive on March 28th. Can't wait.

I am at Vero Beach right now with the chairs! It is very windy here though. 30-40 mph winds. Ocean is very rough. A young man drowned yesterday at Jensen Beach in the riptides. We sat at the pool yesterday where it was beautiful and sheltered from the wind. We are going to try the beach today. It is supposed to be less windy. It is sunny and in the mid to high 70's.

Hope the winds and riptides calm down.

I'm just back from WDW on Sunday so I've been away since Wednesday. They kept talking about the dangerous riptides up and down the eastern coast of FL on TV while I was at POP. So sad about the man who drowned.

Enjoy your stay at VB ! Be careful if you go into the water......

I'm missing FL right now....it was 70's while I was there too. Right now I'm in PA and woke up to 23 degrees with a wind chill of 15 degrees ! WHERE IS SPRING ?????

Good news...I got a new job

bad news ...we have to cancel our Vero trip for July...no vacay time accrued yet

Just wanted to let you know...so that the CMs aren't wondering why I don't pick up the chairs.... Thank you so much for organizing the swap. Please don't even THINK about a refund, cause I don't want it. I hope everyone has a wonderful vacation this year!!

We were at WDW last week before we headed to Vero! We were at the Beach Club Villas from Thurs 3/19-Sunday 3/22! We had a great time there and finishing up at the beach is great. Yesterday the weather was high 70's here and the winds had died down some. Today is supposed to be high 70's too with even less wind. We are heading out to the beach soon. I am in the lobby now checking email and things. DH is in our studio still sleeping. For those wondering wireless is being set up in the villas and it is being tested. I have been able to connect sporadically in the studio. They are still working out the kinks.
Off to the beach and home late tomorrow. We have a few hours at the beach before we leave tomorrow that will have to tide me over until the next trip.
