2009 SSR Point Chart Includes THV Category

Just noticed on DVCMember.com under "Point Charts" that the 2009 SSR Point Chart now includes the Treehouse Villas category.

Points are idential to an SSR 2BD. Here is a link to the chart (hope it works):

This year we are taking my extended family to SSR for Thanksgiving. We've invited my wife's family for 2009. Our hope is to re-book the THV in February!!!

I'm pretty sure they just mean that the points don't apply before the treehouses open, kind of a "duh" statement, the type that people often feel the need to add in. A cya type of thing.

The 2009 point chart is only good through Dec. 31, 2009 no matter what resort. At the end of each year, yes they can reallocate the points. I think that disclaimer just means that those points are good from resort opening to the end of the year and the resort isn't scheduled to open until summer 2009.

If you look at the 2009 AKV point chart, it says about the same thing.

This Vacation Point Chart is effective from the Resort
opening date, currently scheduled to be fall 2009, through December 31, 2009. Reservations scheduled to start in spring 2009 for stays scheduled to begin in late 2009.

This one could be even more confusing as AKV actually opened in July 2007 with the rooms in Jambo House.
