That price is for the regular dining plan. This plan includes 1 TS credit, 1 CS credit and 1 snack credit for each night you stay at your resort. If a party of two adults stays 5 nights they receive 10 TS credits, 10 CS credits and 10 snack credits to use over the course of their stay. The cost would be $39.99 per adult per night so the total cost for 5 nights is $199.95.

i have that part. But in a nut shell Snack, Counter service, and dinner can only total 40.00 for all Or is that just for the dinner TS portion of the plan?

You don't have to have the table service for dinner. Nor do you have to use all three credits on a particular day. In the previous example with two adults staying 5 days, each adult would have 5 table service credits to use for any table service meal they wish, on any day. They can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Same with the counter service and snacks. You could have two counter service and a snack one day, two table service and two snacks the next day, and so on until you run out of credits.

And yes, it's $40 per night and you get one TS credit, one CS credit and one snack credit for each $40 you spend.

The 40.00 Dollars is the price of the plan i pay for when i book it??????? Becasue i thought yall meant i could only eat 40.00 worth of food in a day on the plan!!! For instence 3.99 for a snack 9.99 for sweet and Sour pork 2.39 drink and tiramisu 5.99 counter and wood grilled pork loin from spoodles 22.99 baklava 5.99 and drink so thats so thats about 52 dollars right there!! I think i was just misunderstanding

$40 ($39.99) is the per night price of the regular dining plan. For that $40 you get credits. The menu price of the food you order with the credits is not relevant. You can order almost anything on the menu at any participating restaurant (there are very few restrictions - and some of the more expensive TS restaurants cost 2 credits per person). For each TS credit you are entitled to a full buffet at a buffet restaurant, full menu at a family-style restaurant, or an entree and a dessert at an a-la-carte restaurant (unless you are ordering breakfast - no dessert with breakfast, so you get a second beverage). A CS credit will get you an entree or a combo meal, plus dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage (two beverages, no dessert at breakfast).

Okay Thanks.. Yeah i was confused.. I think i read my brochure 2 times looking for my spending limit on food.. Glad im not loosing my mind.. sorry even I have blonde moments from time to time!!! :rotfl:

Hello everyone. I am trying to find the list of 2009 restaurants in the plan and I can't find it! I understand it is not final yet....can someone give me the link Please? Thanks so much!

Ihave just gone ahead and added the regular dining plan to our reservation. Can someone explain what a Combo meal is? For the quick service do we get for example a cheesburger, a desert and a coke? Is there a list somewhere of what counter service places are included in the plan?

Thank You

Ohh, one other thing, if we have CS credits left at the end of our stay can we use them on snacks at Goofys?

I too am wondering what happens if you have unused cs credits? Can they be combined for a table service or was that on the old plan?
Also, are you able to order anything you want at a table service restaurant? Any limitations that you know of? Thanks you guys are great!

You cannot trade CS credits for TS. Sometimes they allow it the other way around, but they never allow trading up.

A combo meal is a meal which, on a CS menu, includes the entree and side. (They must be listed together on the menu. For example, Pizza Planet has a "meal deal combo" which includes a pizza and salad.)

There are a few exclusions, but they are extremely few. The 2008 Dining Plan FAQ thread at the top of this board has a list of some that have been reported by posters.

I believe there are items at Goofys that may be had for a snack credit. However, you must use the credits before midnight of your checkout day, or they expire.

Does the dining package work for the special events at the Food & Wine Festival? Will a snack credit work for the walk up booths? Any information regarding the Party for the Senses and the Culinary Adventure Signature Dining events will be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to buy the dining package if it won't work for the events we are interested in.

thanks

During the past two years snack credits have been accepted for any food or non-alcoholic beverage item at the World Showcase kiosks, regardless of the cost of the item.

Dining Plan credits have never been accepted for any of the special dining events associated with the food and wine festival, so it is probable that you will not be able to book Party for the Senses or the signature dining events and pay using dining credits. These events are fully prepaid at the time of booking and cannot be refunded or cancelled.

General information about the Food and Wine Festival events can be found on the main Restaurant Board where there is a sticky thread regarding the Food and Wine Festival. Links to official Disney information are in the first post of that thread.
