2009 confirmed snacks

I was wondering if anyone knew the confirmed snacks. Are they the same as last year. For example at Goofys candy store I was able to the small plastic container of cotton candy for a snack. Will that still be allowed? Thanks for your help.

Well, "confirmed snacks" are confirmed by the DISers who've actually been able to obtain them using a snack credit - so by definition, there can't be any 2009 confirmed snacks until, well, 2009.

Most likely, the same items that can be purchased with snack credits in 2008 will be valid in 2009 as well. But the only guaranteed snacks are the "for example" ones described in the 2009 brochures - including, but not limited to (because I'm working from memory, not looking at the pdf) 20 ounce bottle of soda or water, medium fountain drink, 12 ounce coffee or tea, single-serve bag of chips/Doritos, ice cream novelty, single-scoop box of popcorn...

Exactly. A new list will not be started until the end of Jan.or Feb.

I too was wondering if the offerings would be the same as this year. We were going to do the DDP in October but have to cancel our trip due to relocating for work I'm actually happy that we're moving because we'll be only 6 hrs from the Mouse rather than 15, but it just happens to be at the wrong time!

So we're going next year in December and taking my parents who have never done WDW (ok, so my dad was there for a day but that doesn't count). We are doing the DDP because we do come out on top using it.

I've seen so many yummy snacks on this years list that I'm worried some of the snacks I want I won't be able to us a snack credit on. I'm looking forward to the list coming out next year once people start going in 2009.

Due to the CS plan with 2 snacks- I have a good feeling they will be reducing the snack credit options severely. Only time will tell!

I know if they take away the funnel cake in Epcot, my Husband is going to be reeeeally disappointed. The beignets for breakfast at the Port Orleans may make up for it, but maybe not )
