Hey Shan-man,
Just downloaded your new calculator. :thumbsup2

Put in dates of 12/3/2010 - 12/13/2010 shows ten nights and when I looked at the prices

:faint:

Partial $492
Full $3200.
Preferred $3250.
Premium $3360
Cabins $3250

Gotta go check my pants :rolleyes1

If you look at the 2010 data chart in the top right of the DATA sheet it needs to be sorted by the LU column. Just select that small table and sort by LU and it'll fix that problem.

Shan, I also noted that 12/18-19/09 should be H and not P.

Shanta,

Can I assume the NOTE above the top yellow box can now be removed?

You do great work. Give yourself a pat on the back and put yourself in for a raise.

WOW! I'm so sorry! I guess this is proof that I'm not a Terminator, basic user error! Here are the correct figures.

$492.00 partial
$632.00 full
$682.00 preferred
$792.00 premium
$2,700.00 cabin (all before taxes)

Big thanks to kc5grw for debugging for me! You are very astute to pick up on where the error was. I know what happened, I had to add a new "rate season" for the cabins during the Jan marathon and failed to re-sort the lookup column... duh! Thanks again. The corrected version is uploaded.

No problem. I had already been digging around in the 2009 spreadsheet to update with the 2010 rates so I had an idea what was going on. When I was originally adding rows to the table for the extra 2010 rates I had similar problems.

Great spreadsheet and I've used it a lot. I've found a small problem too. On the data sheet, the CK column for 2009 dates references the dates in a different file (the 2009 rates file). So it doesn't work if I don't have the old file, or if I put 2009 dates in the 2009-2010 file. To fix it, I just filled up the equation from 1/1/2010, and now I only need one file.

Maybe it was just me. The first time I opened it it sayed "This workbook contains links to other data sources...Update or Don't Update" The equations in 2009 CK (B21:B385) contained the links to the 2009 file, and the 2010 CK (B386:B750) just went to the rate calculator sheet.
Code:
B385=IF(A385>='C:\Users\braclark\AppData\Local\Temp\[2009FWRateCalculator.xls]Rate Calculator'!$B$6,IF(A385<'C:\Users\braclark\AppData\Local\Temp\[2009FWRateCalculator.xls]Rate Calculator'!$B$7,1,0),0)
B386=IF(A386>='Rate Calculator'!$B$6,IF(A386<'Rate Calculator'!$B$7,1,0),0)

The latest file that I just downloaded is different, but I don't know why.
Keep up the good work on this spreadsheet.:thumbsup2 It helps me easily find the cheapest dates to go.

While using this great tool, I found something that might not be working right. It doesn't appear to be calculating properly for a "Partial" site during "Value" season.

For example F390 shows a price of $66.00 for a partial site, while a full site is $62.00. It looks like the partial column isn't referencing the whole rate table.
=VLOOKUP("P"&$D390,$M$3:$P$16,$E390)
should be:
=VLOOKUP("P"&$D390,$M$3:$P$17,$E390)

Hopefully this time I'm not crazy. ;)

Whew, I'm just glad I didn't embarrass myself again :rolleyes1 like I did the last time.

Thank you again. Your spreadsheet is helping us find the best time to plan our second trip to the fort. Without this, it wouldn't be as easy to find the best budget friendly times. :thumbsup2

My husband and I are becoming avid Camp followers as we are in the process of being in the process of contemplating buying a camper!!!! Have to buy a vehicle to transport said camper also, but these are just details. After reading some of your (Shan-man's) posts, I am certain that God created you on the 8th day for all things Disney!!! Can't tear myself away from Google Earth and I will know every rock, tree, bush, etc. before we even set foot at the Fort. You guys who keep this thread rocking are the best and thank you for all the wonderful info and tools. Here's hopin' we will be campers before long too!

I'm delighted you are finding the GoogleEarth project useful. I plan to gather quite a bit more data for it next month. We have scheduled many days to just hang at the Fort, and I intend to drive the wheels off that cart with my laptop & GPS riding shotgun. Expect some nice additions in the next couple of months!

Thanks, kaguilbeau! I can never find this thread when I need it. :goodvibes
