Hi I have not been on this site for awhile so I am trying to find out if this is correct. I am a DVC member and just booked a room in May of 2008. Members services just told me in 2008 they would have two plans next year. One for $37.88 that would not include an appitizer with the sit down meal, nor tips. There would also be a higher priced one that would cost $70 a person and would include 3 sit down meals a day and a refillable mug, but still not any tip. I have been looking on all the sites including Disney's, but do not see any mention of this. Have you heard of this plan? Do you think it's worth it?

Thanks for any info...

Have you been to the Restaurant Board - Disney Dining Plan section? There is a ton of info on these plans:

Regular $37.99/adult/night and $10.99 child/night - 1 Counter/Quick meal (entree, dessert, beverage), 1 Table Service (entree, dessert, beverage) & 1 snack per day.

Deluxe $69.99/adult/night and $19.99 child/night - 3 meals (appetizer, entree, beverage & dessert) & 2 snacks. Meals may be: Counter/Quick, Table Service or a combination of both.

Tips are extra with both meal plans.

Whether it's worth it depends upon how you eat - if you normally eat table service (including character meals), than it may be worth it to you. If you normally eat just burgers and snacks, then more than likely it won't be worth it. The convenience is great for many as this meal plan is set up as credits and each meal (Signature restaurants are worth 2 credits each) or snack is taken off from a bank of credits - you may use them as you wish.

Good luck with your decision. Happy eating, Tiger :)
