2008 Trip

Help!

DH is getting frustrated because the rates, etc. for 2008 are not yet on the WDW site.

Does anyone know when they will become available? We're planning a week in January and we'd like to book sooner rather than later.

We're also trying where we REALLY want to stay. I LOVE GF but it's a little more (ok, a lot more) than he wants to spend.

In your opinion, how do the other resorts compare?

Rates should be out late July or early Aug - but you can book now for Jan.

Call WDW at 800-828-0228 and they will book you for the rom you want using 2007 rates - then when rates come out they will adjust the rate.

We are looking at Jan 08 but we are unable to book anything from Australia until the rates are released.

We have booked and paid for our flights, I just want to organise the hotels,

We called and they told us rates will be out end of June beginning of July - SO PRETTY SOON!!!!! I have been reading that there are hotels booked to capcity all ready for 08 - hubby is actually calling as we speak to get info on the rooms for 08... I will fill you in if I learn anything else...

We stayed at the Port Orleans Riverside (moderate) last time (4 years ago) and really loved it. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. Our room was in the Mansion section; magnolia trees, weeping willows along Bonnet Creek, beautiful wooden bridges. Alligator Bayou is more rustic, w/ Cypress trees. We found the bus service to be good, too.

Are these Disney resorts that are booked to capacity for 2008? We just need one night after our cruise, but it's the night before Easter. When I called the Disney number, they told me I couldn't book because rates were out. I guess I'll call again.
