2008 Package Prices & Booking

We are planning our May 2008 Package through the WDW website... when will they release the pricing and allow booking of the packages for 08... I know I can book our room now (but we havent deicded where we want to stay YET) - I want to book it all as soon as I can.... so I know exactly the costs etc... we do have a disney budget in mind and I want to see what my best value will be

For the '07 prices it was Mid August. The room rates were in May. Mousesavers has a historical listing of when stuff is offerd to!!

I can't believe I am am in the same boat this year again! we are going to Disney two years in a row this time ( usually every two years) early DEC 08 and I was just starting to think wonder how long before packages for 08 are out. Last year it was Aug but in 2004 I was booking for 2005 they released packages in early July! I was try to rationalize that maybe it wouldn't take this long this year because they changed so much with the dining plan last year! Last year that was their excuse, they where revamping dining plan. Hopefully it will Bea year they don't change a lot and packages will be out sooner.

Where on Mousesavers is this hiatorical report of offers I keep reading abt? I have looked but cannot seem to find it on there.

Is there any benefit to booking a package early? I know that I want to go in March '08. The guidebooks say that if you book early you can save because you get locked in on the rate when you book, but I have read here that if you book now they will add the price increase on to your package.
