Sat. night would probably work better for me. But, I'm game for anytime. I know nothing about
Disneyland so I can't offer any suggestions on any other place to meet.
I do have a question, though. Where can I eat the night before the race? Maybe some pasta? And please, don't suggest Disney's Pasta Dinner. That's one expensive dinner! I would expect a little wine with that meal and entertainment for that meal!
There are plenty of restaurants on Harbor Blvd., just outside the bus drop off/pick up area. Mimi's Cafe, Millie's, IHOP, Denny's, McDonald's, Tony Roma's, Subway, California Pizza Place. Many others.
Further down past the convention center, near the Hilton (South direction) there is a Joe's Crab Shack, Outback Steakhouse, Red Robbin, Coco's, Morton's. Lots of places in the vicinity.
If you have a car, in downtown Fullerton we've eaten at a good Italian restaurant called Florentine's Grill.

Shopping tip, there is a Disney Character Outlet store about 15 minutes away from the park. They sell park merchandise at pretty good discounts. May not be current stuff still being sold in the park, but it's still hip and trendy. In the past, I've found Half marathon expo merchandise a few months after the actual race. They carry lots of kids clothing, adult stuff as well. If you need pins for trading, I've bought them for like $3 vs. $8.95 in the park. Autograph books are like $3-4 vs. $8-10 in the parks.

To get there, drive North on Harbor Blvd., into the city of Fullerton. Turn right at Orangethorp St., and turn right into the parking lot past Panda Express Restaurant. It's at the end of the building on the far left. Look for the blue sign "Character Outlet."
Got Disneyland questions, just ask, I just might know the answer.
