2008 BAN Wagon Support Group

The store is Green Tangerines up in Rocklin. The sale is 20% off everything you can fit into your tote bag but you have to buy the bag (or get one free if you spend $50).

If you BFF doesn't have the bag, I would be willing to buy the paper for you. You could tell me what/how much you want and just Paypal me the $$. With the discount, the price per 12x12 sheet is $0.48 for regular Bazzill and $0.52 for Bling.

LMK sometime soon as I will be leaving work at 5:00pm my time and won't see a computer before I go shopping. :goodvibes

Be proud of me, please!

I took a major step in my attempt to use some of my "oh, so beautiful" paper yesterday. I actually used some of my basic grey paper and I even took the ultimate step as I CUT things out of the paper. Do you know how hard that was to cut up that paper?:sad1: I now have a two page layouts on my table waiting to be permanently adherred and journaled.

I do need cardstock though but will buy that on sale.

Yay Vanyel! Great job on using that stash!!! After all, isn't that why we bought it? :thumbsup2

Way to go vanyel!!! Way to use that pretty paper- I did the same last night, cut up some Basic Grey. I bet the layout is fantastic! :cool1:

Thanks for the offer Shauna! A friend of mine just pointed out that I might be able to order in bulk from either create for less or joanns so I'm going to look there. I am going to let her know about the sale though. :goodvibes

I will be back in Sacramento in April ... we should try to meet up!

Ooooo! That would be fun! Maybe mommy2mrb can come up also. She's in Modesto so not too far.

LMK what kind of pricing you get on your bulk Bazzill. www.madaboutscrapbooks.com has a storefront in Carmichael and they have pretty decent pricing on bulk but I'm usually too impatient to wait for the shipping. You might check them out also if you know what you want.

I just broke down and entered an auction on eBay for the Mickey and Friends cart. I hadn't been planning on buying this one but I'm finding that I want it more as I am working on my DL and WDW trips (finally). I was buying embellies at the store but I think I will save a lot by just having the cart. Also, it will be quite helpful to me as I do the completed page and tag book swaps.

Fortunately, I was able to get it for less than $50 including shipping and I've not seen it that cheap ANYWHERE!

Now why do I feel so guilty? :guilty:

Lot of ban wagon wobbling going on here! ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's not really wobbling for me because I allowed myself 4 carts this year AND I got it for a GREAT price. I just feel guilty for spending $$ now for some reason.

I say if it was one of your allowed AND it was a good buy, then I say- "way to go!" And don't feel guilty, you didn't fall off the wagon. No need to break out the CropoDiles!

I'm feeling wobbly today, but I haven't caved yet. I sorted my solid cardstock today so I know I still have plenty for my upcoming projects. I almost feel like coming up with a project that requires stuff I don't have just so I can shop!

I'm trying to decide if I've been good or bad this month.

I've been to Recollections sale 4 times (on my exception list) and I went to Js for Cricut mats. That's it. BUT...I've spent $200. $200 on things 40-80% off, so I got a lot of product. But it wasn't "think before you buy" stuff...more "this is pretty and I can afford it now" stuff.

On the plus side, DH got a larger than expected bonus, and out tax return is larger than expected. Bad side, I really need to buy another CH vertical holder with the next coupon I get from Js.

Man, I just crashed off the wagon
Please slow down to pick me up

Pongoperdigirl, part of the recovery process is talking about what you bought when you fell off the wagon................dish up the dirt, girl!;)

I will tell you the same things I tell the boys:
there are 3 things you need in life, to eat, sleep, and breathe. Everything else is icing on the cake.

You don't really need anything. Besides why aren't you playing with all those Sizzix dies I sent you?!?!?!?

Do I need to ban you from the enabler thread??? ;)

Ok, ladies.... gonna need some good, STRONG thoughts today!!! Where's the crop-o-dile? I am going to Michaels to get paper to do DD's birthday invitations. And probably a Xyron refill. Pray I can stay strong, because I feel WEAK!

You can do it Ashley!!!!! Just don't wander down the aisles. Get what you need and get out, set a timer on your cell phone. 10 minutes!!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

And I just realized that I have a 30% off coupon at Archivers that expires today!!!! :faint: DH isnt helping, he told me I should go. :rolleyes1
