2007 will come out the end of this year, 2008 the end of next year (2006), and 2009 will come out the end of 2007. Im pretty sure thats right because the 2006 dates came out last year. Someone correct me if im wrong lol

can you rebook on board, but for dates that haven't come out yet? we're looking at maybe 2007. will be on the ship in this august (in 2 months, yay!!!!), would like to rebook, to get discounts...do i just randomly tell them a date in 2007? does anyone know how this works? thanx in advance!

We booked on board in January 2005. We wanted 2007 and the on-board agent had us book for December 2006 and she said when the rates come out (usually around September) we could move our dates and still keep our on-board credit.

Can't wait for the dates to be released.

I heard that DCL will have 10 new ships by 2013, so you could just show up in Seattle & go on the Alaskan cruise without worrying about booking in advance...

In general, dates come out about 18 months before the sailings.

As to new ships, the world has been full of rumors since the Wonder was launched. The most accurate information I'm aware of is that there is no Disney ship listed as being built in any shipyard at present--so either the next one hasn't started construction yet or DCL is managing to keep it very quiet.

I've heard rumors of a planned fleet of 7 ships with one in dry dock/refurbishing at any time, trips to Alaska, Hawaii, etc. Bottom line for me is "wait and see." Meanwhile, we have trip number 13 booked on the Magic.

A non-sarcastic response, it has not been announced that they will be sailing out of CA in '07, BUT a big announcement is scheduled July 16/17 & many people are speculating that DCL will announce they will be sailing out of CA in '07.

This is my hope, but when we rebooked aboard the June 4th West Coast Cruise the agent said that the 2007 schedule for the Magic would be delayed and not announced until probably January. That's not to say, that they couldn't make the announcement without an actual schedule, but I think there is still a question of whether July 16th/17th will have an announcement at all. I was under the impression that it was just a rumor at this point. But here's the pixie dust in the hopes that there is a big announcement and it is CA in '07.

I read that Disney bought an island off of ca this year, or last. mexico maybe? I tried to find ir again and no one would tell me were the post was. That would be way closer and cheaper airfare for us. were looking at 2000 just for the four of us.

NO that is a rumor that has been posted in the past on DIS. The Magic sailing out of CA, leaves every Saturday, just like in PC. EXCEPT on July 16, it is not leaving on Saturday, but on Sunday. You know us Dis'ers noticed this right away & started thinking why.... Some believe they will announce a new ship, others say the Magic is coming back in '07, you get the idea... Of course you may be right & it has nothing to do with any kind of announcement and is just the way the dates worked out for some reason....
