2008 AAA perks

This year we got the AAA diamond parking pass, free mini golf, Planet Hollywood voucher, storytime voucher, luggage tags, and sea raycer voucher. Does anyone know what the package perks are this year?

I got all those without AAA. I booked with AAA two years ago and it turned out to be a nightmare. I would never book with them again.

With our package this year we received a AAA parking voucher that let you park in special spots in the theme parks. The spaces were near Handicapped parking. At most parks they were so so, but we found the spaces to be excellent at Epcot.

I know about the Diamond passes. In off season quite often they don't even use them. I was just wondering where in this thread anything was said about discontinuing them?

We just booked yesterday thru AAA for 2008, and our TA told us that we would be getting a special parking pass, discounts at certain places, and a few other things I can't even remember now. She also mentioned special seating for fireworks shows...anyone know what that is all about???

I knew I had heard about the fireworks thing before. It's not new. I did some searching and found this on MousePlanet.com:

Just reading this over, several of those perks sound the same as what's offered with the basic magic your way package... the mini golf, and planet hollywood voucher, luggage tags, and sea raycer, at least. Am I mistaken, or are they basically the same things? (Honestly, none of them-- at least as listed in MYW-- impress me that much)

I thought these perks were only when you booked MYW through AAA. Is that what you meant?

No, I mean when you book online with Disney... when you setup your package, click on "Select Package" (where you'd add the dining plan), and see the details for the Magic Your Way base package, cut-and-pasted here:

As for the fireworks my ta has done alot of searching and calling disney regarding this. Here is what she has found out: the seats for fireworks are only with the Premium and Platinum aaa packages, these are the packages with the cirque de soleil tickets etc. hope this helps. by the way she is a ta many of you have dealt with here, I got her name from some of you here.

Thanks for the investigative work, Terri! I am pretty sure we did not book a premium or platinum package, so I am not sure what my TA was talking about. We made our deposit today and she is going to send us a AAA Disney brochure in the mail with our receipt, which she said outlines the entire Magic Your Way Magic Moments Package (whew, that's a mouthful). If it says anything different I'll let you know.

I just reread my message and not that it matters but it does not have anything to do with the aaa packages, but with the magic your way package.
