Morning girls! I took the day off from the computer yesterday. Didn't even turn it on in the afternoon/evening. The weather was just plain ugly this weekend. Today looks deceptively nice, but it's freezing!

Our exciting news is that Ian will be shooting a small scene in a local commercial this morning so I won't be around for a while. He's excited. It's for Time Warner Cable but will just be shown in the Albany area.

Laurie, glad you're feeling better. Hope you had an easy drive to work.

A DAY OFF FROM THE COMPUTER - I'd die!! LOL That power outage nearly killed me!!!! What did we do before compters, can I ask you????

Good luck Ian - maybe you can tape it and put it on youtube for us to see?!?!?

WTG on the pants fitting nicely! My jeans are hanging off - but, I am not liking the size-down - it is a bit tight, so, I'll deal w/the BIG ones for now!!! I haven't been great this weekend... I think I am going to weigh in on Thursday, I didn't go to WW yesterday, I just couldn't function w/the time change and all!

Glad to hear you are back on track - me too! I have to be - since the good weight loss last week - I TRIED to be good, but fell apart!!!

Well, Becky has already had an XBox and some games as her main present, so we're going to buy some fun bits and pieces like jewellery, perfume, clothes etc. As I've mentioned before, she's mad on Transformers, and I managed to order a fab t-shirt with Transformers on from the Hot Topic website

I just got both boys off to school. I have a busy work day set with finishing up pay roll, contract burn rate (hours used) sheets, and employee leave balances updated. I did a ton of it on Friday, so I should be able to finish it up today. I need to have it done because I'm not sure what's going to happen after tomorrow/Wednesday with Keegan and possible surgery. I'd like to stay with him or in a hotel near the hospital if they keep him there. I have to run up to his pediatrician's office to get the surgery clinic referral for Wednesday.

We had a great time at the birthday party last night. Keegan got in some games of foosball with the big boys so it was nice that he could finally do some kind of sport without me worrying.

Brennan has his after school bowling league today and has his first baseball practice of the season tonight too. We also have the Major league parent's meeting for Keegan's division. Good thing Derek's on day work!

I had an interesting night at work last night i had to witness some girls from the courtsey desk be interrogated and taken away in handcuffs by the police for stealing.
1 stole $8,000 and the other stole $2,400 over the last 2 months. It was so sad they were crying and asking if they are going to jail etc. Everyone was very upset. I need to find a different job to much stuff goes on there..lol

Since I just had Emily I ran a bunch of errand and went shopping Then last night my BIL and nieces came over so I didn't even get to touch the computer.

Yes, I had a nice weekend. Shopping was fun..I got some summer stuff for me and the kids. Today I was weighed in...another 4 pounds lost So, I've lost 8 pounds in total since I started going in January. Its slow going but I'm happy its going! My only frustration is that I am losing inches everywhere really well but in my rear (only lost 1 inch in 2 months) and that is where I need to lose it the most

I'm looking forward to this afternoon. Another parent is picking up Bryan and bringing him home for a playdate so as long as Emily sleeps it will be quiet around here for a while. So my big plans are laundry and DIS

Whenever I buy summer stuff before a cruise, I always think...this will be good for the cruise I bought a couple of sleeveless and short sleeved shirts and 2 pair of shorts. I also bought a bathing suit cover up (I'm not ready to buy a bathing suit until I lose more weight).

Have you bought anything for the cruise yet (I know you've picked up some FE things)?

You are all doing a great job on the weight loss, congrats!

I am officially caught up with all of my tasks that I would need to have finished this entire week. I've also done 8 loads of laundry and put it all away. I'm trying to prowl proof the house too incase my MIL comes to watch Brennan if we are at the hospital for any length of time. She likes to go through our "stuff" in the kitchen, family room and the boys rooms. Drives me nuts but we really don't have anything to hide except bank statements/bills/mail.

The pediatric oncologist called and spoke with DH since we were concerned about the surgery consult and whether they wanted to do surgery this week. He said they wanted to make the appointment just in case he'll have surgery but they are still hopeful the mass may have shrunk. He said the surgeons might not even want to do surgery if it's shrunk a lot and can be controlled by antibiotiics for a while and then do another CT. When DH asked about the cancer probability (since they have said at each appt. that they can't rule it out 100%) he said it was "slim, slim, slim." He said we'll just do the CT and then they'll talk to us but he'll have to see the surgeons Wednesday anyway. They still aren't sure at all what the mass is made up of, just that it includes air and fluid. I feel a lot better knowing there's still a chance he won't need surgery.

I've got to run and go get him from the bus and head up to the bowling alley for Brennan...then to baseball and the baseball meeting...
