We are talking again.. she came home from shopping all happy and apoligized for being a brat. Now i can go to work tonight in a better mood.

So after my girl's night out and being up late and having a fewww cocktails I spent 6 hours yesterday at my nieces' cheerleading competition. OMG are cheerleaders loud. The good news is that their team place 1st out of six teams in their division. They were heading to Albany today for another competition after being at the oncenter from 11:00 am to 9m on Sat The extremely bad news is that Sydney is convinced now that she needs to be a cheerleader. Ugh, the makeup and barely there costumes plus the 1000's of dollars my sister pays are not appealing to me

Oh no !! I'd much rather have the goth sulky look than the happy, overly made up cheerleader look

Nicoles shopping sounds similar to my girls, though they haven't gone as far as the biker boots as yet (phew !!)

Well one thing this trip did was remind me just how much I hate flying. It was so bad landing that we came in sideways. I think I am going to either need a drink or some good drugs before I get on that plane again!!!!

Well it's Monday, so that means it's mad around here today. I'm taking my mum shopping, doing a bit of grocery shopping and then ferrying the girls around. Kerry's got another driving lesson today and the weather is dreadful, we've got torrential rain and severe gale force winds

I am feeling a bit better... still really stuffy - but, my headache is gone.. and of course, either way - I am off to work!! Oh, well!!

Ant starts the NJ ASK test today - he is a bit stressed, not as bad as Dominic when it comes to standardized testing.. Last year, he had some testing, and I got a call from the nurse that he was sick.. he just gets himself so crazy over testing - it's unbelievable - but, regular tests at school, he doesn't even study for - and pulls all A's...

I'm looking forward to Thursday, when Becky gets a day off school and we're taking the train to Birmingham and I'm going to get her some birthday presents

How's your diet been this weekend Laurie ? I was really naughty yesterday, and surprisingly I wasn't bothered. When I went out for my meal on Saturday, I wore a pair of cropped trousers that I bought last year for 'when I lose weight' well they fitted great. So I might not be losing weight, but I seem to be doing something right

My diet is back on track this morning

Morning girls! I took the day off from the computer yesterday. Didn't even turn it on in the afternoon/evening. The weather was just plain ugly this weekend. Today looks deceptively nice, but it's freezing!

Our exciting news is that Ian will be shooting a small scene in a local commercial this morning so I won't be around for a while. He's excited. It's for Time Warner Cable but will just be shown in the Albany area.

Laurie, glad you're feeling better. Hope you had an easy drive to work.

I just got both boys off to school. I have a busy work day set with finishing up pay roll, contract burn rate (hours used) sheets, and employee leave balances updated. I did a ton of it on Friday, so I should be able to finish it up today. I need to have it done because I'm not sure what's going to happen after tomorrow/Wednesday with Keegan and possible surgery. I'd like to stay with him or in a hotel near the hospital if they keep him there. I have to run up to his pediatrician's office to get the surgery clinic referral for Wednesday.

We had a great time at the birthday party last night. Keegan got in some games of foosball with the big boys so it was nice that he could finally do some kind of sport without me worrying.

Brennan has his after school bowling league today and has his first baseball practice of the season tonight too. We also have the Major league parent's meeting for Keegan's division. Good thing Derek's on day work!

Well, I do feel a bit better , sometimes I think when you are up/showered/out of the house, that helps A LOT!!! So, I am at work and totally functioning - I know if I was home, I'd probably be in bed!!!

WTG on the pants fitting nicely! My jeans are hanging off - but, I am not liking the size-down - it is a bit tight, so, I'll deal w/the BIG ones for now!!! I haven't been great this weekend... I think I am going to weigh in on Thursday, I didn't go to WW yesterday, I just couldn't function w/the time change and all!

Glad to hear you are back on track - me too! I have to be - since the good weight loss last week - I TRIED to be good, but fell apart!!!

How exciting Sandy, I hope he enjoys himself, as it all adds to his experience. When the commercial is shown, you must try and tape it for us and post a link so we can see it

Lost was OK, not as good as Desmond getting to the freighter last week. There was a trailer for next weeks episode too, and that looks great. This season is so small, only about 8 episodes, so it feels like it'll be over before it gets started
