Well Michelle I am going to call it a night. I have a load of laundry to fold and then I'm going to sleep. Thursday is my day off and I will go in to the younger girls class parties tomorrow. Maybe I'll wake up and my DH will buy me a new car for Valentines Day.........NOT;)

Dinner was good - and filing - and SO bad for me!! But, OH WELL!!

Glad you enjoyed your meal Laurie :thumbsup2

I was on WW on my own, no weigh ins or anything for the whole summer before our 11 night cruise. I lost 45 lbs, it was melting off. I even lost 10 lbs on the cruise I assume because on the cruise I actually exercised

Wow, that's fantastic. I never lose weight on the Cruise, and I always use the stairs (hubby and I like to race each other :rotfl2: )

I have a silly question - On our last cruise, being it was our second - we got LOTS of Castaway Club goodies - what kind of CC goodies has everyone rec'd - being you have all been on many cruises - I was just curious to see what kind of goodies you got - I love SURPRISES - or FREEBIEs!!! :thumbsup2 Our first trip we booked through AAA - and we got a great box w/goodies in it from them, but others we were on board w/got a great tote bag....

Over the years we've received a couple of lovely Castaway Club beach towels, a couple of smaller tote bags with mesh bags and various little bits and pieces inside, and on this last Cruise, we had a larger bag with one mesh bag and a nice notepad and pen. The Castaway Club reception used to be great, with a finger buffet and free Bahama Mamas. We haven't bothered going to the reception since it changed - how on earth can you not give away free Bahama Mamas ??? :sad2: :rotfl:

The car dealership just called and said that my truck should actually be ready to pick up on v day..  They had to install running boards on the sides so i could get in.. When we went to test drive it i had to use the steering wheel to pull myself in. I am to short it was very embarassing.

How exciting, enjoy your new truck Michele

I can almost picture myself sitting on cc with that cocktail in hand(a skinnier me of course):rotfl: :rotfl:

Now that could motivate you Michele - keep that image in your mind :)

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone

Had another idea for the teens on our cruise. My daughter would love to get to know others through email or IM (she has an AIM acct). She is 16 and on the last cruise she was on she didn't go to the teen club because she didn't know anyone. Thought it might be fun for her if she and her friend Bethany could get to know some other teens before this cruise. Feel free to PM me with your teens email if they would be interested.

Sorry Sandy, I meant to reply to this before, I will PM you my girls email addresses, as soon as they give them to me :thumbsup2

Thanks for your Fish Extender Exchange PM :)

Hi Laurie
Price Chopper is a grocery store!!

Between all the water and the Mexican food, you better just bring a blankie and pillow to the bathroom for the night!!

Oh Daughtry and Bon Jovi..............sweet dreams for me;)

Great, right?!?!?!??!? LOVE them!!!!:cool1:

Well done Laurie, I'm impressed :thumbsup2

My girls have just gone to their friends, so I'm going to do my exercise dvd this afternoon :)

Good morning ladies! Happy heart day! Talking to DH last night I decided that I am going to start following my weight watchers plan again. So my reading today will be about the points again. Then tomorrow I'll head to the grocery store to stock up on healthy fare. Thanks for the inspiration. Now, if I could just follow Laurie's example and exercise but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.:rotfl:

Happy Valentine's Day!

I have to make this quick because my supervisor loaded me up with reviewing last year's invoices and my mom told her friends I'd go to breakfast with them.

I have a real down fall for Diet Coke. It's my morning coffee and I drink way too much of it. The upside is I got 2 free Universal tickets from mycokerewards.com in less than a year and will have enough for a 3rd one soon! I can't stand regular soda. When we lived in Orlando, we were a test area for Diet Coke when it first came out , my parents began drinking it and that's all we ever had in the house. I wasn't allowed to drink soda often, but when I did it was Diet coke and got me hooked.

I still haven't gotten the action figures off the treadmill but did think about it when I was scrapbooking in the basement last night. My mom is in ww and is doing well with points/walking. I think she's lost about 48 pounds. I try not to get on a scale. As long as I'm fitting in my clothes, I'm ok. I do know I gained pound a day on the Med cruise and that was walking everywhere. I didn't say no to a single dessert, appetizer or entree and snacked a bunch. Thank goodness my dresses all were made out of that nice stretchy material!

We don't tend to follow any one tv show. We're not here a lot in the evenings because of wrestling. If the tv is on, it's usually on the Disney Channel for the kids. I tend to watch TLC, the Travel Channel and news channels at night. I like Law and Order but that's about the only one I can follow and know who is who. I sometimes catch American Idol or the Biggest Loser, but not too often. Bo Bice went to my high school in London. I graduated in 1991 and he was a few years younger. I didn't know him myself.
I did know Brad Paisley (country singer) in college. He was dating a friend of mine. We played volleyball for the University and he'd come see her in our dorm and come to our games. I got him to sign a Subway napkin once, telling him it may be worth something one day. I can't find it anywhere of course.

Alright, I really have to go...

Wow Danielle you have an exciting life:goodvibes I want to hang out with you!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: Brad Paisley is a cutie. I'm not a country music fan but he's nice to look at;)

Congrats to all you ladies breaking out the exercise dvd's. Way to go, maybe you will inspire me too, but I doubt it:happytv:

Hey Jen, how's Sarah this morning? I've got Sydney home today:guilty: She says she just doesn't feel well and her tummy hurts. She hasn't missed a day of school yet and decides to miss Valentine's day. I knew she really didn't feel well when she didn't care about missing her party. Of course I'm the mom bringing in all the stuff for the party, so I still have to run over to school today with the bowls, spoons, napkins, and ice cream:)

Speaking of kids home from school. Ian fell on the ice while waiting for the bus this morning. He has a big purple egg on the side of his forehead. I kept him home to keep an eye on it and will take him in later. Our driveway is just one big sheet of ice at the bottom.

Hope Sarah's fever is down and that Sydney feels better.

Oh Sandy that's terrible poor thing. Our driveway is still slick too. Is it snowing there too this morning? We are getting big fluffy flakes:sad2:

Nope, no snow. It's sunny and beautiful. He's doing fine now. Sitting and playing with Legos on the floor. He had a Dr appt for something totally unrelated at 10:15 so I decided to keep him home this morning and take him in after the appt.

You sound just like me Danielle, I couldn't turn down a dessert for anyone - and that lovely ice cream at Goofy's Galley was delish too. Thank goodness I had my Trinny & Sussanah Magic Knickers with me :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Goodness me girls, you all seem to have lots of snow, how do you all keep so happy, as I'd be so depressed with how long your Winter seems to go on - it's cold here, but nothing like what you've got

Keep smiling

No snow here  But they are calling for rain the whole weekend in virginia...yuck whale watching in the rain :woohoo:

Het ladies i wanted to post a question to you . We are trading in the ding mobile today and when they examined it for the trade they missed a few major things wrong with the car. I of course didn't point them out. Now when they actually open the hood up and see the front bumper is being held on with a piece of wire...lol:rotfl: :rotfl: do you think they can try to drop the price they offered me for the car after everything is signed and i have the new truck. Hubby says not to worry about it but i don't want them suprising me later with an added bill to my car loan. Has anyone traded in a car before? I have never traded in to buy a new one before.

I have absolutely zero car buying/selling experience, sorry. I leave that up to DH. I tell him what model/colors I like and leave it up to him to find the best deal. He loves it and I can't stand it. We've sold most of our cars ourselves and the one we did trade in was in really good condition. I would read your paperwork carefully to see if there's any disclaimer about finding any further damage to a trade in. I can't see them going back on signed paperwork though. I think a deal's a deal once it's signed.

The sun is actually out here today. It's still very icy and chilly though. On the way home from brunch, myy mom and I saw a poor older guy who fell on the ice outside of his home and had the paramedics there putting him on a back board.

I better get back to work...only one more task for the day. My boss said I could do it tomorrow, but it's Brennan's birthday and I have to go buy/deliver cupcakes for his class. With all the nut allergies, etc. I'm not going to chance making them at home.

Hey Girls

Michele - sorry I can't help about your car as my hubby sorts that kind of thing out - I hope it all works out for you. BTW, I hope you're enjoying your truck :thumbsup2

Danielle - Are you doing anything special for Brennan's birthday ? I hope he has a great day :)

Everyone - I hope you're all having a lovely day. I've had a good day, first Kerry & Becky came shopping with me and my mum this morning, and I bought my first Fish Extender gift, thankfully the girls were a big help as the young lady the gift is for is very much like my girls.

This afternoon they went off to see their friend, so I took the opportunity to put my exercise dvd on

I'm going to be good tomorrow too and do my dvd again as my girls are going to the zoo with their friends - I'm playing taxi, as I've got a people carrier and everyone can fit into my car. I did smile when they said they were going to the zoo, they're 17 & 14 - not 5 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone
