Good morning ladies! Happy heart day! Talking to DH last night I decided that I am going to start following my weight watchers plan again. So my reading today will be about the points again. Then tomorrow I'll head to the grocery store to stock up on healthy fare. Thanks for the inspiration. Now, if I could just follow Laurie's example and exercise but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.:rotfl:

Sandy - good for you!!! Let me know if you 'need' anything - I can pass along my weight watchers expertise! LOL LOL if I was an expert, I wouldn't STILL be doing it - you aren't going to join, you are going to do it on your own, right? I can help if you need anything w/the etools too - I pay for that, don't use it, but I have it - sometimes there are some pretty good recipes and stuff!!

Good luck on your weight loss journey - I'll be doing it right along w/you!

I've been busy today, can you tell, haven't had time for the boards all day!

Laurie

Congrats to all you ladies breaking out the exercise dvd's. Way to go, maybe you will inspire me too, but I doubt it:happytv:

C'mon Suzanne - it's 'fun' :lmao: I am going to see if I get on the treadmill tonight too - didn't wind up on there last night, but Idol was on - LOL Although, tonight is Survivor and Apprentice.. hmmm ... so many shows, so little time!! :happytv:

Hey Jen, how's Sarah this morning? I've got Sydney home today:guilty: She says she just doesn't feel well and her tummy hurts. She hasn't missed a day of school yet and decides to miss Valentine's day. I knew she really didn't feel well when she didn't care about missing her party. Of course I'm the mom bringing in all the stuff for the party, so I still have to run over to school today with the bowls, spoons, napkins, and ice cream:)

These poor sick kids - it is horrible being sick on party day - I am sure she'll have lots of goodies coming home for her though - How is she feeling this afternoon, any better?

Speaking of kids home from school. Ian fell on the ice while waiting for the bus this morning. He has a big purple egg on the side of his forehead. I kept him home to keep an eye on it and will take him in later. Our driveway is just one big sheet of ice at the bottom.

Hope Sarah's fever is down and that Sydney feels better.

Poor Ian - ouch - that had to hurt - how is he feeling now?? All these 'laid-up' kids - make sure you keep ice on his egg - poor little guy!!!

Wow Danielle you have an exciting life:goodvibes I want to hang out with you!!!!!:lmao: :lmao: Brad Paisley is a cutie. I'm not a country music fan but he's nice to look at;)

Hey - what about me ... I have a few claims to fame myself! I used to live around the block from Bon Jovi's original bassplayer - I actually met him, was in his house and everything... AND Jon himself lived around the corner from my grandparents.. I never met him at home, but I knew his little bro - BUT - I did meet Jon at a Van Halen concert in the 80s.. I met the relief pitcher from the Mets at the Outback after a Spring Training game AND I hung out w/the guys from John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band after one of their shows (the band that did the Eddie and the Cruisers soundtrack) - MIND you - that was YEARS ago - and I have to admit, I was w/my Dad!! But, I have pics w/the sax player - he was actually in the movie too!! Hmmm... what else - there might be more, I have to think!!

Alright, now I want to hear everyone's famous people encounters!! C'mon girls - do tell, do tell!

Het ladies i wanted to post a question to you . We are trading in the ding mobile today and when they examined it for the trade they missed a few major things wrong with the car. I of course didn't point them out. Now when they actually open the hood up and see the front bumper is being held on with a piece of wire...lol:rotfl: :rotfl: do you think they can try to drop the price they offered me for the car after everything is signed and i have the new truck. Hubby says not to worry about it but i don't want them suprising me later with an added bill to my car loan. Has anyone traded in a car before? I have never traded in to buy a new one before.

Check it out Michele - I traded in leases before, and the last time, they actually billed me for a scratch on the front fender... but, that was part of the lease deal, if you are just trading it in, and you don't owe the dealer anything for it, I would say you should be fine... they looked it over, it's their problem if they missed something.. and let's face it, they aren't giving you nearly what they should for a trade in, they will make money on it, those scammy dealers!

Everyone - I hope you're all having a lovely day. I've had a good day, first Kerry & Becky came shopping with me and my mum this morning, and I bought my first Fish Extender gift, thankfully the girls were a big help as the young lady the gift is for is very much like my girls.

This afternoon they went off to see their friend, so I took the opportunity to put my exercise dvd on

I'm going to be good tomorrow too and do my dvd again as my girls are going to the zoo with their friends - I'm playing taxi, as I've got a people carrier and everyone can fit into my car. I did smile when they said they were going to the zoo, they're 17 & 14 - not 5 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Look at you - shopping already! You are TOO good!! I still have to send my list!

WTG on the DVD - woo hoo, we are all going to be exercising and SO skinny by the trip!!! ;)

I think the zoo is fun at any age - LOVE the animals - NOT the smell of the animals though!!! :lmao:

Mandy - I know I won't be 100% happy w/the total that I lose before the cruise, but at this point, anything is better than NONE!! So, I guess that'll be my motto!!!!

Again, thanks for all your efforts in coordinating the FE task! I can't wait to see the list and get busy!!!! :yay:

Lol Laurie, You have me beat by a mile. I only have two the first is aerosmith's drummer (don't know his name) He had steven tyler's credit card and a signed paper saying he could use it. I though it was odd he didn't have his own card he should be rich enough but my supervisor o'kd the $10,000 transaction. The second was a soap opera actress from all my children she was bianca's lover. She actually lives about 20 minutes from my house. I sold her first legal six pack.

Hey Girls

Michele - sorry I can't help about your car as my hubby sorts that kind of thing out - I hope it all works out for you. BTW, I hope you're enjoying your truck :thumbsup2

Danielle - Are you doing anything special for Brennan's birthday ? I hope he has a great day :)

Mandy,suzanne,jen,sandy,sandra,veronica,mary-ellen,What famous people have you encountered.

Back in the 80's I used to go to a club that was the fan base of Duran Duran (do you remember them ?). One evening Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor and Andy Taylor were there - and I asked Simon Le Bon to put my glass on the bar .... quite a boring story really :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Have you ever seen anyone famous at WDW or on a Disney Cruise ?

OMG - DURAN DURAN??????????????? I totally LOVE them!!!

I saw Marie Osmond in the Magic Kingdom, they were sneaking her and a couple of her kids through a sneaky-side entrace of the Buzz Lightyear ride. Nothing major... I have a great pic of my two boyfriends Jon Bon Jovi and Mickey - but, someone emailed that to me, not sure where it came from! I have to see if I can find it...

Over the years we've received a couple of lovely Castaway Club beach towels, a couple of smaller tote bags with mesh bags and various little bits and pieces inside, and on this last Cruise, we had a larger bag with one mesh bag and a nice notepad and pen. The Castaway Club reception used to be great, with a finger buffet and free Bahama Mamas. We haven't bothered going to the reception since it changed - how on earth can you not give away free Bahama Mamas ??? :sad2: :rotfl:

I was skimming through and missed this post somewhere along the way! There's been so much going on lately!!! Anyway, I remember the old reception, we had that one on the 05 cruise - we actually weren't CC members at the time, but, we were kinda sneaky, and went in w/friends that were!!! Free drinks were great!! We went during the 06 cruise, it was kinda lame, it was a 'get to know' CC members, we got free pens.. whoopie!!!!! No FREE Bahama Mamas! But, the DVC member gathering is pretty good - theyn have luggage tags, lanyards, hats, lots of cool stuff - anyone want to be my guest?? I think I am allowed to bring friends!! :cool1:

I got to sit with Dan Marino (Miami DOlphins) for a flight from Miami to Tampa. That's the extent of my celebrity meeting. Oh and I've met Mickey Mouse, and Minnie and Goofy and Pluto................:rotfl2:
