Hey Michele. I can safely say that visiting Paul's aunt at the old people's home isn't much fun, she's in her 80's and she's really hard work. Y'know when they obsess about something and keep saying it over and over, well that's how she is (bless her) and all she really wants are the chocolates and shortbread that we bring her

The airline tickets made my day, and I really can't believe how quick my holiday is coming round - when I went out for my drinky-poo last night, I was telling Paul how much I was looking forward to meeting 'the Bahama Mama's'

Ughh, cleaning and taxi-ing the kids around, I hope something nice or fun happens today for you

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday - but I PACKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well - I didn't pack EVERYTHING - just my stuff (and Ant's), and I do have some things that I left to the side that I will use between now and then, but, I made a list so I don't forget!

So - I have a question - who is getting 'dressed up' on dress up night? And how dressy are you getting?

Ant has decided to wear his pirate costume from last halloween for pirate night - so, good for him! I have to get Dominic a shirt to wear and Carm too! I have something for myself - a shirt I got last year in WDW.

Anyway - all of my crap is on the bed in the spare room. I found some stuff in my closet/drawers, some more stuff in a tote that I brought up at the beginning of summer, and some stuff that I bought - and I returned A LOT of things too! So I am DONE - all I need is some kind of coverup for my BIG bathing suits!! LOL Oh and MAYBE a new pair of sneakers so I can exercise on the boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got all of Ant's stuff together too - he was EASY! I just need to get him some new underwear/socks and a few tanks/shirts to go w/bathing suits and he is DONE!

Carm has to do his own - and I just have to go through Dominic's - he need A LOT more than Ant did. So, hopefully I'll get through his things this week so I can hit the stores!

Anyway - enough of my rambling.....

Mandy - WTG on the 2 pounds! It always seems to come off easier when you aren't obsessing over it, right? 4 weeks and airline tix - this is coming SOOOOO fast! It will be 4 weeks from Tuesday for me!!

I will post some pics from our Franklin Institute/Philly trip - we actually went to see the Liberty Bell too! Quite the tourists we are!! Mind you I live 15 miles from Philly and have never seen these things!!

I will upload to photobucket and send some in a few!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! We are having some friends over tonight for a little 'gathering' - so, it should be fun - and the sangria will be flowing!

I'm impressed that you've started packing, I wish I could get started (but not too long to wait now ). I'll be dressing up every night for dinner, I just love putting on a dress (nothing fancy) and making a bit of an effort, though I won't be wearing a dress for Pirate Night

Laurie - great pictures!! You're already packed - good then I don't feel so crazy dragging out the suitcases.

I need to go through our summer clothes (not like we can wear them here - its been raining since June) and decide what we need and wash them since the last time they surfaced was last September when we were in Disney World.

We give the words Pasty Northerner a new meaning here. You'll have to wear sunglasses to cut down the blinding white when looking at us.

Not much happing here today. DD is having a friend come over to do crafts since they can't go outside.

Well that's about it. Only four more weeks!!!!!!

So I did it.. The Park tickets have been purchased! Mark was right.. There was no way I could stay at the BC and not go to a park! I think we will do highlights... Sarah is begging to go on the Great Movie Ride.. She loves that thing.. She rode it 8 times when we were there in Nov! I of course have to ride Soarin, Splash Mountain, Pirates and Haunted Mansion...

I really could go for a nap but Sarah is begging to go swim so once Em is up we will go..

Sounds like everyone is having a nice weekend.. Laurie - I cant; beleive you are packed!

And Suz says I have it bad with the hour countdown!

Greetings from Wyomissing. We made it up here safe and sound around 3:15 and found a mall less than a mile away from the hotel and spent a good couple hours in it. Keegan found some school clothes at Hollister and American Eagle. It's so nice to go to a mall with other stores besides Sears and JC Penney. The rest of the team showed up at the hotel by dinner and we all went out to Outback Steakhouse. The boys spent the rest of the evening in the hotel pool.

Keegan's team's first game is tomorrow at 11:30 and we have to be there at 10. They have opening ceremonies at 1:30 (yeah, after they start games?!) and then another game at 7:00 PM. Sunday they have games at 2PM and then 7PM. The top 4 teams advance to play Monday and the final championship game is Tuesday. The first team they play tomorrow won their age bracket world series last year. I hope it's not a blow out. Or maybe I do?

There are 90 outlet stores about a mile in the other direction I hope to check out tomorrow sometime.

Betty - you were right FI was great! We wound up signing up to become members for the year. The pirate exhibit wasn't what I thought it was going to be (and I mean that in a good way) - you know me, I walk in signing "yo ho, yo ho a pirates life for me" - but it was nothing like that - it was very interesting!! We are actually going back tomorrow w/my mom to check it out! You should meet us over there?!?!?!?!?

If we didn't have plans with one of Taylor's friends to go to the movies tomorrow we would meet you there. We want to go back to see the exhibit too! I always have to pry Taylor out of that place. Did you get a chance to see it all? The membership is so worth the money. Sign up to get their emails. They have some great things free sometimes for members only. Let me know when you plan to go back and we'll try to meet up with you there.

Your pictures are great. Downtown Philadelphia is fun! There is always something fun to do.

I am happy to report that I stayed clear of all foliage last night. It was a pretty mellow evening.We had about 25 people and TONS of food.Everybody brought stuff with them. My one neighbor brought some kind of strawberry koolaid with vodka that was really good

Well I knew that our stretch of beautiful weather couldn't last It is raining so hard out that our satellite dish is out. It is pouring yuck.Looks like a good day to catch up on the laundry!!
I can't believe it is 5 weeks till our sailaway, I just don't know where the time has gone!!

I love sitting outside too, and our Summer has been awful so far this year. I wish I could sit out all day, but I usually get bored after about an hour - let's hope the sun is shining during the next 4 - 6 weeks
